just a question
I have a 2006 arctic cat 400 4X4 manual shift, my question is, the engine seems to have to rev up a bit before it starts to move. Is this normal? I was told that it is but I am not sure. Compared to my buddies honda fourtrax that doesn't seem to have to rev up to go. Thanks for any info you can provide, as I am new to atving and this is my first atv.

Thanks for the replys. It doesn't require a lot of throttle to move unless you try to clime ramps into a traile etc. then it has to rev a fair bit more. I think I may just be parinoid since I am new to atv's and this is my first one. Might think there is a problem when there isn't. Does this machine's clutch grab better as the rpm's climb?
