Default clutch 2009 artic cat 400 2up recall?

More trouble all 4 units ( 400 2 ups) have broken 2 belts and lost clutch assembly units locked in and out due to heat. The tech said the "new clutch" systems are back ordered until 9/2/09, Artic cat said they were aware of this failure and the new part is much better. Has anyone had clutch-pully problems? Anyone heard about a possible clutch recall in the 366 or 400? All atv's have less than 700 miles. 3 tech's have said this has always been a problem and average riders never ride over 100 miles per year, when the belt becomes an issue the warranty has expired and owner pays. The standard reason for belt failure is owner operating atv wrong, on page 3 of things to tell sorry owner that just paid $525.00. One more thing Artic Cat pays the tech so slow they don't even want the work, pretty sad when the dealer you buy from doesn't want to do warranty work. The Artic Cat 400 2up has been the biggest piece of @#$% I have ever purchased in my life and I had a Hodaka as a kid. WOMBAT

Did you ever get any satisfactory resolution to this? I purchased a 2009 TRV 400 new in August 2010. User it for 3 months (approx 230 miles) before putting it away for the winter. Last fall when I had it to the dealer to get a winch installed, he replaced the drive clutch, saying it was a defective part. I put another 12 miles on it last year after that then put it away. When I brought it to the dealer last month for break-in service, was told that the drive clutch was gone again (+ some additional transmission problems and an oil leak from a plug on the cylinder head). Only had 6 months warranty that expired in Feb. AC Customer Service said they will only cover the drive clutch (again) and on my own for rest of problems ($1000+). Not good for a new quad with so little use. I'm not done with this issue yet.
