Here in ND we STILL have the option NOT to use ethanol blended fuel w/out REG 87 octane.
I NEVER use ethanol if I can avoid it. We "tried" the E85 on the wifey's 2000 GC Sport w/the 3.3l Flex engine just over 3yrs ago when the big "push" was on an gas was nearing $4..........cost us about $600 to repair everything. The E85 literally plugged the entire fuel system with all the gunk it dissolved in the van's tank - and the fuel station's underground tank.
- fuel pump/filter/R&R fuel tank and flush / 6 injectors & fuel rail.

There's an additive you can buy FOR ethanol blended fuels to help stabalize all it's downfalls.
