06 400 wont start HELP
My 2006 400 4x4 auto just wont start, i put in a brand new battery and it still didnt start, so i jump started it and while it was hooked up it had lights and the display worked, after unhooking it, it will run fine but no electronics work. what the hell is wrong with it?

To test your battery remove it from the machine and put it on a trickle charge of 2 amp for about 12hrs. Then, using a volt meter check the voltage across the terminals. IT should read something just over 12volts. Wait about 8hrs and put the volt meter back on it again. Your readings should be very close to each other.
Last time I had a battery issue I had 12.8volts after a 12hour charge and about 6 hours later had about 10volts. Unless you use a battery maintainer that keeps a .2 amp charge going to the battery or something in the 1-2 amp range with a float or full charge sensor you will be lucky to get 2 years of use out of those little batteries. Especially if you have a winch and use it a bunch.
