Question Advice on aftermarket wheels for 2003 Arctic Cat 400

I'm interested in buying some guys used rims and Carlisle ACT tires that came stock on a Cam Am quad. The guy thinks they came off a 2008 Cam Am 800. The fronts are 26-8-12, the rears are 26-10-12. The stock Arctic Cat wheels I have are 25-8-12 and 25-10-12

He's selling them because the "lug spacing" doesn't match what he's riding. He said he believe they use millimeters for the spacing and diagonally center to center his wheels are 135mm.

Does anyone have any feedback on this? Is the Cat wheel spacing somewhat standard? Can I get away with 26's?

im sure someone on here can tell you the lug spacing. i wanna say its 110,but im not certain. as far as the size, the 26s should be fine. Im running 28s and still have room.

Arctic Cat lug spacing is 4/115. That is 4 holes 115mm a part. This is usually stamped into the rim some place along with the rim size.

The rims may not work but the tires should. I used to have a set of 26inch mudlites on my 400. They worked as well as the set of 25inch mudlites I currrently have on it.

Default Thanks.

Thank you for the valuable feedback. I managed to measure myself but knowing the exact measurement will help me to refine by wheel search. I very well may try to get those tires though..

Thanks again!

You are welcome. Also note that tire height can be misleading. My 26inch mudlites and my 25 inch mulites had, when new, about 3/8inch difference in actual height when inflated to the same psi (about 5psi).

I also noticed some rubbed spots on the front shocks that are from my 25inch tires. However, my wife noticed that in old photos the rubbed spots are visible when I had the 26 inch tires too. After closer inspection, my rubbing is being caused by the absence of shocks. They are present in physical form only and do nothing. Totally blown out but not related to the tires in any way. (16,000 + miles did that)

I think I have seen those tires new for around $100 each. Rims would be extra.
