yes and ac has pushed in a quarter to sell more snowmobiles then polaris to but in the overall year polaris has sold more snowmobiles and you ppl don't know where i live cause i live 15 miles from the polaris factory and if they sold more atv's then anyone else they would be bragging about that like they do in the snowmobile market

 

They dont. Honda does. Polaris topped them once ever, and that was it. Honda is far and away the most popular ride there is.

Monkers you need to go out and ride the quads your looking at. IMHO nothing compares to the 500ho in its class. Don't take my word for it, get out there and find out what you like.

 

Indeed, you do need to ride the stuff to make your decision. 2 years ago, a magazine could just about sway somebody to decide that the Vinson 500 was a god among lesser quads. I never figured it out myself. Its a simple design with no real frills. Same engine as an AC 500, though the Vinson was suppose to be a major 500 powerhouse. I've never seen any 500 with a stronger engine than the Polaris. The suspension was just a straight axle. It had disc brakes, but there really wasn't any feature on the Vinson that other quads didn't already have.

As far as the honda sales thing being mind boggling, I don't know if that was a sarcastic remark or what, but to me, I guess it is mind boggling. Mainly on how many simple minded fools will buy something just because thats what it says on the side of it. Where I live (Arkansas no doubt), you've got a double assload of old farmers and stuff that will have absolutely nothing but a Honda reguardless. We're talking about the kind that can't see the difference in a Honda 300 and a Prairie 700. Nope, gotta be a Honda. Well, enjoy your back pain and bad brakes I guess.
