I have a 2001 Yamaha Wolverine 350. The other day I just lost power while riding. It will idle fine but when you throttle up it spits gas back out of the carb into the filter in a fine mist. Replaced the float needle and seat. No help. Definetly seems to be in the carb. Need Help!

I found it last night after reading it in some other older posts, it is the parking brake. The thing is junk and hasn't worked since I bought it. I was loading wood in a trailer on a hill and thought I would give it a try. Imagine my surprise when it didn't, so my wife held the brake while I loaded the trailer. Last night after reading the post I went out and looked under the rubber boot that cover the parking brake actuator/lock and the cable was out about an inch. Pushed it in and she runs like a champ again. This thing provides a feed to the CDI and prevents high rpm to keep you from burning up the brake. Great safety feature that works poorly. Thanks for the help !!!!!!

I'm assuming that if you replaced the needle and seat that you thoroughly cleaned the carb. If so, I don't know, but it really sounds like your main jet is clogged or there is crud in the float bowl. I've run into this on a bunch of different machines and that is always what it has been.
