I've been doing my research on the RZR and was surprised there wasn't any power steering on it. I figured Polaris would include that?? I rode my friends g/f Grizzly with power steering and boy thats nice. I know thats apple to oranges, but I figured everyone would be following suit. And I know as soon as I got one they would release the 2009 with power steering, and I'd be ticked.

So why no power steering?
How does it turn for you guys who have one?
Think later models will have that option?

Yeah I talked to a friend of mine last night and he said the same thing. He hasn't actually rode one, but seen one in action. Reason I was kinda wondering is 2 years ago I shattered my right elbow. I have limited movement, and it just isn't what it use to be. And this affects me on my rough riding 4x4. So power steering was something that I was looking into.

I called around the dealers here so I could go look at one, and everyone is sold out. They said they can't keep them in stock. One of the places I called has a waiting list, and if I get on it now, I would be looking at next year!! Thats crazy!!

I think it because it doesn't feel necessary. Perhaps you get some extra leverage or advantage of the steering linkage??

All I know is that I doen't even wear riding gloves anymore and can ride all day without any shoulder/arm soreness.

If it was a problem, you could always add a knob like the farmers use??

I doubt you will need it though.

I look at power steering as more of a convenience, then a neccessity. It would be nice to have but it isnt really needed.

I have had mine for a month & a 1/2 it is so easy to steer on any type of terrain that you don't need power steering. Most times I use one hand.
