I do not believe roll overs are ever due to the stability of the RZR. I found the RZR to be extremely stable.
I think what happens is that the RZR is such a great handling machine that it lulls you into getting too comfortable and you start driving faster and faster. You don't realize how fast you're going until you hit that sharp turn with a gravel base and the next thing you know you're skidding and then going *ss over tea kettle.
I've never rolled a side by side but I've seen it happen. It was always due to someone driving too fast for the conditions.

That's too bad!!
What was the circumstances around the wreck?? Speed, turning too sharp......a tree?? ha ha

I'd pull the cage off; fab some kind of jig identical to the attachment points and take a hard look at the frame also. I doubt that even with a well-anchored jig; that you'll ever get it to look right; yet if you don't look the frame over real well....

Please post them if you can; thanks.
I'm not of the opinion that these things hurt anybody; as the word needs to get out on the subject of safety involving these things pretty darn fast. Our so-called 'community' seemingly refuses to organize even to the point of demading minimal training or aftermarket build standards...so I really don't see any other manner in which to get the word out on safety or 'don't do this' iidiotic behavior with unorganized apathy running at an all time high.

Agreed.
Polaris stuck their neck out with a bigger engine and a much narrower width; yet (IMO) it was a responsible business decision employing the same logic that you describe above.

A nice chick used to lift at the gym I went to. She also rode in the rodeo in our area. She got slammed at the rodeo and is now paralyzed from the neck down. I don't see her blaming the horse. Guess she is more of a "Man" that some will ever be .....My 2 cents.......

Still makes me wonder about the stability of that machine or if it just inspires confidence to quickly. I have seen some videos of some serious wrecks with the rzr and I sure wouldn't want to endure a bad one. I must admit though that the roll cage really seems to be able to handle the abuse.

Sounds like an overpowered golf cart to me.

I think I saw them on youtube. Try there when you get a chance.

Of course it's the rider, but if you take a machine that can instill confidence in a rookie when the ride is not that stable, you could have a problem. I almost rolled my Sporty 800 when I hit a large rock covered from my side by vines. I was going 2 mph and have been riding for years. Accidents happen very quickly and sometimes you can't avoid them. There must be something to the complaints you see about how the rzr rolls. People usually don't just make that kind of crap up.

I guss that is why they put a ROLL cage on them (by the way just for grins, it is never the rider, its the Driver.......LOL

Did you check out the roll cage at www.lsracing.com? This might be better way to go. Now mind you I know nothing about this company, I just saw the roll cage while following another post on gas peddles.

Yea my buddy rolled mine and messed the roll cage all to hell and broke a lot off plastic on it. Just found out today that its gonna be around 2 thousand dollars to repair as soon as its fixed this bad toy is leavin this house before someone gets killed. Already someone broke their collar bone, another their arm, and another their leg in two places. Thats just around here.
