Off-topic; yet I was in the UP recently (just north of there) where a Rzr sat unspoken for also. Tourism looked to be way down right in the middle of the summer and folks must really be hurting in that area (throw the entire LP in also).

I put my deposit on a red one the first of June Still waiting. I was 29 on the list and I think I'm now #5 now. Hope to get it before the end of Sept.

I agree with Mick on the way to decide. Try to match the color with something. Your other atvs, tow rig or something. I went red to match me 700sp.

Posted by: Rustybronco

Just decide what your next toy will be and then decide.

I haven't even driven mine yet, i'm out of state until next week. My wife went and test drove it and then did the deal and picked it up and took it home. I'm thinking your wife will like it also.

Anyone heard if they are going to offer a real tree cammo?

Posted by: gt350tsc

real tree camo would be Awesome.
My sportsman is blue. wish it was camo.

Posted by: gt350tsc

did you finance that or pay for it in full?
I thinking about one in about year or less.
Looks nice

Posted by: gt350tsc

believe it or not I kind of agear with you on the finance because of the interest rate you have to pay more. so far ive never done finance on atv's. Ive bought them used. wish I could by new. Ive got my CDL and when I hit 21 this November. Im going to get a job as a truck driver so if I save my money I could get one.
and no sadly I'm not married. never had a girlfriend to be honest. not that ive haven't tried its just that the right one i havent found and since my job choice is truck driver I don't think I will be getting a girlfriend or getting married anytime soon.but never say never but until i find a girl that like horseback ridding and
atving I dont know.
not everyone can make allot money so that would be why they have financing
and if you got good credit you can get a low interest rate.
but Ive only done financing on my ford explorer . Ive thought about doing it on a atv.
my ford explorer is paid off now yay.

I think you are right because there really is nothing wrong with my sportsman.
taking the time to think about it why would i need a two person utv when im one person. i will stick with sportsman because im one person and its paid for.
to be honest i'm not a very fast rider. I use to be but when i fell off a trailboss i use to have that slowed me down. i just hurt my wrist for about a day or two. but it taught me a lesson in not speeding of course on the trailboss you really cant go to fast. and of course i had a helmet on. because when i landed my head which was protected by the helmet i think hit something because the back of had about a quarter size chip off the helmet and i replaced it. Ive had some great experiences ridding my atvs but nothing compares to horseback and i know why am on atv fourm than. that would because i still occasionally ride. I must say my sportsman is in great shape and has think like 95 hrs I'm not sure but that what it say on the screen. heres what Ive learned so far buying a used atv is a gamble. Ive gone though a trail blazer and trail boss. I have had my sportsman for a year now. I must of got luckily with this quad because Ive haven't had much of any problems with it other than routine mantince.
life is way to short. I cant beleave how fast high school went by.
the thing that amazing me that how many different woman are out there
well ive got to go bed lol.

I would totally go with green. It would match my other two hawkeyes =)

Posted by: rzr

well red is racie and green is for hunters everythin i own is green ex the rzr and i dont hunt much just like green but color is unimportant the color of fun is any colour

Posted by: rzr

if i could get one in PINK i might

Posted by: rzr

to tell the truth i paid cash up front to get mine first it will put you ahead of other orders i orde mine in feb got in june

Posted by: beermanjoe

I`m going to get the green one because I like them better than the red.Not because I think I need to color coordinate.

Posted by: beermanjoe

The green has metal flake in it.Does the red?

Posted by: Mud Hog

Camo would be really cool. I don't know about the green just because there are some awesome greens out there and some really crummy ones. Red is cool no matter what it is on and it always looks fast. I was looking at the RZR this weekend and it is definately a trick machine. There was a guy that had one in for service that had a marine stereo in it with the sound cannons you see on all the arches of the ski boats mounted on the roll bar. Very trick. I may have to get myself one of those in the near future. If you live anywhere near Hurley Wisconsin, Honda of Hurley has two red ones that are not spoken for.

If anyone is near Flatwoods WV there is a polaris down the road from Mid-State Chevy about 300ft. that had 4 unsold rzrs, 1 setting on the side of the road and three inside.(last month)

So While I'm waiting for my new RZR to come in I find out that I may have a choice of the Red/Black one or a Green one. Now it is my understanding that the Green RZR has not been available till now. So guys which would you take, or does it really matter as long as it's a RZR.

Posted by: CaptnKidd

Well I would do that, but I have nothing to match to. got rid of my other machines, with no plans to expand. I do have a red enclosed trailer, maybe that will be the deciding factor. Heck I will just b happy to get one, so I guess I will take the first one that gets here.

Bronco
I like the way you think.
If my wife likes this rig like I think she will, I may have to get a second one just so I can drive

Posted by: CaptnKidd

yea, I just stopped in to look at a two up 4-wheeler and the service manager I deal with said "You don't want that, come out here and see what we've got".

It was already sold but he let me jump in and drive it over to our truck where my wife was waiting for me, she got in, we drove it around the yard, she say "You need to order one of these, when can they have it here"

I should have it soon, right now I'm in Oregon and shortly after I get back up to Alaska it should be in.

It hard waiting. I can not imagine owning one and not getting to drive it yet.

Posted by: CaptnKidd

I agree on that, I guess I was just worried for some dumb reason that a green rig would be......heck I dont know what I was worried about anymore.

Thanks

Posted by: CaptnKidd

know what you mean. I just stopped in at a polaris dealer in Eugene Oregon, he tells me he will be a year filling his orders if they continue production at the same rate. He has 27 on order

Posted by: CaptnKidd

I just got my first look at my new Green RZR. I must say it looks very Army, maybe I will put a big white star on the hood...

I think that when it is said and done, this is going to be one "Lean Mean Green Machine".

even if the red one does look racer.....

Any way I get to pick it up in AM, its going to be a long night...........

I contacted every dealer I could fine on the west coast, from Alaska to Arizona. All of them had a long list of presold. Oregon told me I would be #28 and they expected 2-3 per shipment, and 3-4 shippments per year.

I went in and raised H@#$ with the owner, because his salemen was giving me a lot of lip service to make me feel good. I wanted the truth. I did find that Polaris is hard to work with, but he called and got the scoop.

Mine got in yesterday, shipped the 30th.

Good luck, it will get there.....someday,

Posted by: CaptnKidd

yea some dealers get more than others, my dealer gets 2 at a time, thank goodness it came in. I wanted red but they had a green one get cancelled so I got firt crack at it, I thought that when I first posted this thread that I would have a choice. Well that never came up again, so it was a mute point. I get green....

Posted by: Gamalot

My Greenie has been on order since June and should arrive this week, Sept. 17.

I want green because I just think is shows dirt and dings a bit less then red and is not quite as visible in the woods.

I am still pretty unhappy with the way Polaris is delivering these and will be alot unhappy if they fail to get mine here in time for vacation.

I see some dealers out west seem to have units available at their shops while here in the NE it appears every unit is sold before it ever hit the floor.

The waiting is killing me!

Well, the bad news is mine got kicked back until Sept. 27 from my dealers order deliveries. He told me a shop up north of me a couple of hours had a red and green NOT SOLD.
I called and the Green was history but the red is mine and I will pick it up tomorrow.

My brother wanted a red one but took green when it was offered, we will switch and be HAPPY.

This should be fun and the wait appears to be over for us both.

Think I will post tomorrow night and have some good news if my fingers are able to type after a full days work in high speed to be able to get done soon enough to make the ride to pick it up. I am thinking you don't hesitate with RAZORS!

Just got home with it!

Has about a million gaudy stickers all over it and 0.3 miles on it!

Wanted a Greenie but Red came in and now the wife says " I am so glad you got the red one"!

Will spend the evening peeling off BS stickers and getting her ready to ride.

Supposed to be rainy tomorrow so she won't be too pretty by the time I have any news to report!

You might not like my answer here but TOYS should never be FINANCED!

Please don't get me wrong here but I am OLD SCHOOL and truely believe toys are toys and if you can't buy them outright then you have no business buying them.

You are certainly welcome to do as you please but Financing adds a bunch more to the price and a big burden if you want what you can't afford!

More marriages have been destroyed by wants over needs where finances are an issue!

The sign "TOYS ARE US" should only ever be hung over garages that are paid for!

Well GT, You have a long way to go and the best I can say is if you are a good man, truck driving, hard working horse lover then I am pretty sure there is a gal out there looking for you. Just have to cross paths, so to speak.

I stand behind my feelings in that it is always best to buy toys with play money and after everything else is taken care of.

Apparently I am different from the thinking today and most seem to think they can live a good life up to their ARSE in debt as long as they can handle the payments.

Like I said, "do as you please" but toys will always only ever be toys and necessities come first here in my house!

At 21 I would have this thing wrecked before 22! At 55 I am expecting it to go to at least 60 and the 33 years difference is all the difference.

You go ahead and have some fun but a good man needs a good woman, good job and a home alot more then he needs a Razor!

Sorry to get Daddy like on you but facts is facts! I am betting a good gal will trim your wings pretty quick!
