are they that easy to fix i've been hearing of a lot of blown engines and thought it would be ashame to waste such a good frame.

Hey guys I am supposed to head down to Coral Pink this weekend and I find that my Speed's battery has died and won't hold a charge.
My question is if the Dal takes a certain type of battery...or would one from say Checker that is the same size work?? Thanks

Get a yt12a-bs its almost double the capacity but the same exact size. Awsome in cold weather. The stock battery is the same as a 400ex.

There are quite a few 400ex parts that will swap.wheel,hubs,axle bearings,front shocks,arms,seat covers,soleniods,ect

Thats just wrong man . You would have one exotic slow quad. Ive seen a yamaha 450 in one . Most dale engines can be fixed. I just fixed a fx400 that a guy picked up for $1400 with a suposed blown engine. Well the one main bearing was bad and it cost $13 for a new one. And it needed a new battery and other minor items but I got it back together and it runs like a champ. Although this was a lucky one. Some that sieze the cranks up cost a lot more to repair.
