BB never had the lead, and Strose took the lead on the 2nd lap and never lost it.

Congrats Jeff@TQS Stoess on your 1st pro Win!!!
Those darn unreliable cannondales! How do you do it? 2003 GNCC A Class winner with ZERO DNF's and now an OVERALL on a course so bad they cancelled all Sunday races.
and now a quote from Thomez, our omnipresent spokesman:
Also, lets not forget our other C'dale riders!
Tony aka Swamp'Dale finished an impressive 12th in 4 Stroke A !!
And don't forget Tyler Lenig, who I don't think is on the site, but has been doing great in the 4 Stroke Stock class, he was on the podium again today with an impressive 3rd and 8th overall in the morning!
Eric Randle, 8th place in 4 Stroke C 25-32.
Michael Trapp, 12th in 4 Stroke Stock.
Brian Blosser, 20th in 4 Stroke C 16-24.
Darrin Jumper put in a good race day, finishing 11th in the Vet class.
Tony Isbell put in an 18th place in 4 Stroke B - top half of the huge class!
How about this one!
Timothy Lenig, Jr. - 3rd! in Open A class, is this maybe Tyler's brother, dad, son, something? It looks to me like their 'Dale not only made it through both the morning and afternoon, but kicked some butt in both!
Here is also some impressive news, not a single Cannondale with a DNF in the PM race! 10 Yamahas with a DNF, and 9 Honda - where does all this reliability talk come from? Hahaha!
2 Cannondale DNF's in the morning race, but listen to this - 11 Yamahas and 12 Hondas .... I know we don't have as many out there, but only 2 didn't make it the whole day! I must say, I am proud!

Just gotta bump myself.
It took a Cannondale to break BB's win streak!

Thanks Ryan that race was a blast. Not nearly as muddy as Millfield last year but it was muddy.
Bill only lead the first couple of miles, it was Smiley that led the first lap. Here is Bills places and lap times each lap:
Bill V Ballance 001, YAM 00:25:45 2 00:00:07 00:34:48 8 00:00:55 00:30:27 5 00:00:06

Actually it wasn't nearly as bad as Millfield last year.

Thats weird, I saw Bill get his truck and trailer pulled out before I left, and I left at 6 saturday night. Bill got his flat on lap 2.

I just ran across this thread and wanted to say that I raced Millfield last year and it was quite a mess. I met a very large tree sliding down the biggest hill out there. But I finished the race and had a lot of fun doing it.
I wish I could have been there for the Sparta race but ongoing mechanical woes have kept me from the last couple rounds. Hopefully I will be back in action for the last 4 rounds.

I am supprised they didnt cancel the Sat. race too. You would of have to been there to understand. I wish now i would have brought my camera. I was walking down pit road and sank in the mud almost to my knees. The track was in very bad condition with almost everybody getting stuck. The only good part of it was the start.
Anyways congrats to Jeff on winning that crazy race.

Also i am wondering where did jeff pass balance at? Everytime the pros came through Balance was in first.

Well yea BB had the lead because we have it on video tape. He got the holeshot. And at the very begging of the woods on the second lap it looked like he had the lead but you really couldnt tell because they all were covered in 2inches of mud. But anyways at the next gncc race i will try and ask him.

Bill did get the holeshot, but ended up with a flat somewhere along the way. He said it was a nasty, nasty, nasty weekend, to the point that he called his Mom and told her non of us needed to make the trip up to Sparta. it was Sunday afternoon before they got his truck/trailer pulled out. Boy were we glad we changed our plans and didn't go.
Congrats to Jeff on a 1st place, but I just gotta pull for family............go Bill!
