You got a 8000 dollar quad for 5000 dollars that has been sitting on the floor for years. Others had the same deal and passed. If it stays together you did well. If it turns out to be a nightmare...

the predators are getting more aftermarket attention now the dales have stalled, they are a neat idea though.

I agree the predator would be a better choice in your situation with the wife and kids riding along. The current market price on speeds in around 3 to 4 grand .

I gave you my reply on Cannondaler but I will say that I don't think you made a mistake. If it blew and you had to pay to fix it, you will still have about the same as another ATV would have cost, and it is still a lot higher quality. You will be happy. Take it for a ride then let us know if it was a mistake or not

Went to buy a 04 Predator tonight and came home with the Speed. Seems like a lot of quad for the money ($5000.00) but Im starting to worry now that I have read
some of the posts about motors blowing after a couple hours and mutiple other problems that people are complaining about. Is this thing worth anything or should I
have went with the Predator.

Thanks for the feedback ... I took it back and got the predator. The Predators had a rebate and I got an 04 for $4899.00. I rode the Pred yesterday and loved it. It worked
well for my type of riding ... mostly woods. Pretty fast to - dead even with an 03 piped Raptor in a 200yd drag. I did take the Dale out for a quick ride before returning it, and
it felt like a freakin rocket. Maybe too fast for my old reflexes in the woods.

hey, let me know how that all turns out, i'm inbetween a predator & a cannondale myself, i've heard good & horribly bad on the cannondale, i need to do a lil more homework, but the preadtor's lookin up, 1st gears too tall though.
