Well, I should have one for each venue now.02' cannibal for ice/flattrack,03'cannibal for xc,04' v-force for trailrides.

Posted by: cannondale27

Hey Wistech we should buy Cannondales to fit tires! One for ice tires, one for flattrackTT,Mx,Trail and XC.
Yea I might be able to be happy with four!

Parts are everywhere for the Dales!!! There were a few months where there was questions about avalibility but us owners stuck together and now there are great conections on parts! You just have to know where to look

If you have any technical problems or parts finding problems check out cannondaleriders.com or cannondaler.com

they all seem to still get around fine.

Feel sorry for them LMAO BR>
I say feel sorry for all the guys running out spending as much or more than they thought was too much for the cannondale on their new yami or honda.

Plus I feel sorry even more when I think how all the brand loyal people were wanting so much more than the two big manufacturers ended up offering, and it was right there in front of their noses all along in the tree frog looking quad from cannondale

Seriously EFI, Al frame, DOHC, Cassette style cases, and the reverse intake and exhaust was a great combo and still isnt matched by any of the big four.

I cant believe some of you feel bad for us who bought the new 450r's and yfz's, take a look at my pics and see if you feel sorry for me

Posted by: mx400exgirl

You should feel sorry for yourself that you did not get one.

Posted by: Coyotechaser

I'm sure the Cannondale owners will get by with a little courage. I wouldn't mind having a race quad with EFI. Sometimes I wish Honda would have come out with Cannondale 440 instead of a 450R.

Posted by: WISTECH

Dont feel sorry for me . Mine has been the best quad I ever had. 20 years on Hondas. ich

Posted by: WISTECH

You guys will have to feel twice as sorry for me . I might have another one soon . Christmas is comin early this year.

Posted by: WISTECH

Cant stop ...must get another....the addiction.......lol
I cant help it. I keep seeing people dumping these works of art dirt cheap and I have to get in on the action . Anyone who says you cant get parts for them is just plain uninformed or doesnt know where to look. Lets see pay 6 to 7 grand on a regular sport quad and mod it up or pay 1/3 that for a aluminum framed fuel injected race quad with aftermarket parts on it from the factory. For me its an easy decision.I still dont recomend anyone buy them because I want them all. My precious.

Posted by: WISTECH

Sounds good to me. Heck my bro has a dozen 250rs in his garage. He doesn't even ride a dozen times a year.

Posted by: WISTECH

Well you would have to worry about filling your airbox with gasoline when your doing you wheelies MX.LOL I hope you have cut down on the practice boy. Seriously I dont think a cannondale would be right for you yet. They still have the technical aspect to be concerned with. Its a crap game if you get a engine that was put together correctly from the factory and if you needed the crank balanced or some other engine problem that might crop up could you afford to repair it? I think I lucked out when I decided on an early 02 instead of a newer model . Many 03 quads have blown the cranks out within a few hours of use all because of manufacturing defect. If I had to wait weeks or months to get my only quad back on the trail I think I would go nuts. Which is the reason I want another one so I can do a complete teardown and inspection on my tired old speed and still have one ready to run.

Posted by: WISTECH

Well Ive gone and done it . I got me a Moto to play with my Speed. What a deal. I also picked up a frame and enough parts and to build a third cannon . All for less than the price of a 400ex. That titanium exhaust sure is purdy.

He He He

Posted by: WISTECH

Sound like he made a good decision.

Posted by: WISTECH

I dont feel bad that people buy 450r and yfz 450 . Heck If I didnt get sick of waiting year after year (12 years )for a real quad from the big manufacturers I would have a Raptor or yfz in my garage right now. I dont think most of the younger members realize the garbage quads we had to choose from in the late 80s and 90s. Then cannondale comes along and gives us a taste of what ALL sport and race quads could be. The only thing I am sad about is Honda and yamaha didnt go the extra mile and really throw some technology into design like the do on thier bikes.

Posted by: mxquadracer

I wish I wasn't so broke, I need a Dale!

Posted by: mxquadracer

Not much I don't know about Honda's and Volvo engines, I've rebuilt quite a few of them including my dad's ole cr500r, our rancher, the old trx300, my dad's 4 cylinder volvo(glastron boat), etc. As for the dales... I'm falling little behind on those, but I'm working on it Yeah that whole wheelie thing was just stupid, but I'm back at it again My ex is sitting disassembled on my garage floor right now. Edit:she's all back together and running great now.

img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> hehe congratulations, maybe I'll have to switch you quads on that group ride and show you some real power, those ex's are monsters with a slip-on lmao. Oh, I forgot to ask the most important question of all... any updates???

did you all hear that dinli is picking up where cannondale left off? i hope they are cheap i want one. can't ever have too many quads

Posted by: RoostinRappy

My friend had a cannondale and it died on him... It would have cost him $1700 to fix it but instead he bought a brand new 450R... The cannondale would have just kept dying on him anyways... Every dune trip we went on it broke down!!

Posted by: RoostinRappy

I think he did but he raced a stock YFZ450 and it killed him... But all he needs is some mods and it should be good to go!! Exhaust will help alot!! I wish that I had a DALE to have fun on... I like the looks of them especially the Cannibal!!

Hello all you fellow 'dale riders.... Be easy on me I am a new fresh outta the box ATV rider (still ride dirt bikes)
and just purchased a new 2003 Cannible. Since several of you have posted that you feel no urgent need to
stock up on parts and that you just need to know where to look, I was curious if you could post in this thread
so of the better places to buy parts for a 'dale.

I look forward to partcipating in these forums and picking the brains of the experienced 'dale owners BR>
I do have to say that I feel in love with my 'dale the first minute I rode it.

Thanks in advance!!
