I have some on the way. They have a stack height of .100" (.254mm). The OD is .53", which is just slightly larger than the screw. I'll be checking tonight to see if it'll fit in all the counterbores. I should have them early next week, I'll report on them when I get 'em!

I'm trying to get some samples. If this is the easy fix I will use them all over my quad.

We're looking at using this locking mechanism for hardware at work and thought it may work well for the crank and tranny plates. To bad I didn't come across it until I already red loctited my hardware.

Good find. These look really simple and would probably work. but, when you go to unloosen these things what will they do to the aluminum threads in the case when the bolt is pulled upward a bit? Also, if i'm reading the dimensions right, it appears with two washers they are 4mm high. I don't know if they will cause the bolt heads to interfere with anything and it looks like you will need to use bolts that are 5mm longer than stock to get the same bite in the case.

OK .2 not 2mm each. Yes keep us posted.
