OK, I went to check my crankshaft studs for the stud update (not done on mine, but the bolts were tight). I reinstalled everything in the reverse order, but the top of the clutch pack, the part that the bolts go through to secure it, does not fully seat! I ran the bolts down to see if that cinched it up, but no dice! I can't pull my clutch in, though I didn't try very hard...
I'm good at cars, but I've never been inside a motorcycle engine before, until now. I'm not familiar with wet clutches...
What's the deal!? Help, I have a trip to Pismo scheduled for this weekend!
PLEASE HELP!
THanks,
Marc

Got if figured out. the last friction plate was stuck to the pressure plate, and when I put tht pressure plate on, the splines weren't lining up. Pretty sure that's teh problem. Thanks to Jaybr at "the other site".
Thanks for the input though!

Try opening your bleed screw on the clutch master cylinder. You'll have to bleed it again. It may have tried to make up the adjustment and all of your fluid is in the slave . When you open the screw it should engage.
