DHP400ex- I sent you a pm.

I got mine from R&S, I believe it was $189. The anodized should stay in tact since it's not in an area that's going to be rubbed on.

Mine still looks great after being on for at least 6 months now.

I've had mine for 5 months and it has no problems. It is also the black one, just when i'm finished washing it I wipe it w/ WD40 and it looks brand new

I think they all come powdercoated now cause the anodized ones were dis-coloring. When I got mine from Kyle at R&S I'm pretty sure he told me that.

Who has the best deals on a HMF slip-ons for the Cannondale? And, will the Anodized slip-ons color stay intack on the Dale? thanks

Posted by: DHP400ex

Im not worried about the anodized coating getting rubbed off (could'nt see how that would even happen), Im just worried about heat discolorization ...Let me try again: anyone have one that is anodized and any problems?

Posted by: DHP400ex

Well anyway Ive found out that HMF now powder coats the silencers because the anodized ones were changing colors...as for best price??

I have a friend with a anodized blue HMF and it still looks just as good as new, unlike the stock toaster that turned gold after the first ride. He has been riding pretty hard for about 3 months with it and looks great. The anodized slip-on looks better than the powder coated ones(IMO).

Motown, your HMF is power coated. He is asking about the anodized one, to see if the color turns with heat.

I thought Scott's was anodized. Oh, I don't think I am going to be racing for a little while. I went to avondale with Motown on last Tuesday and ripped my foot pegs out the frame on the table top. I got everthing fixed and painted, but haven't had the time to put it back together. It is also kind of COLD outside. The guy that fixed my frame did a lot of reinforcing to it and said I will never break it again. I haven't been having good luck lately and my kids have been sick, so I'll be out there as soon as possible. I was just telling Motown today that I am itching to get back out there. Good luck to all the quad squad people!

Is there a carbon fiber HMF? I seen it on a 4x4 in the pictures of Dirt Wheels.

Go with R&S, they are outstanding. I dont know about them having the best price or not but their customer service is out of this world and they will fill more than your pipe needs of time.

I send as much of my business their way as possible.
