I guess I need to check the board more often.
Sorry to hear about your accident, Josh, I know just how it is. I'm sure you'll recover quickly and be back to 100%. Not riding for a while is really hard, but I'm sure you'll have pleanty of motivation when you get back to it. Play lots of Off Road Fury and watch Huevos videos as nessicary to stay sane.
I hope to race with you guys a little in January and Febrary. We just got the new MX bike, and I'm looking forward to the AX races in Monroe and Starkville. Too bad it won't quit raining so I could ride...

first off guys, thanks for the concern. Airtime, i wrecked at holeshotmx in hammond,la. What happened was i went to hit a pretty big tabletop and i came off the jump sideways and landed a couple feet short of the landing. as soon as i landed the quad threw me off and i don't know if it came back and ran over my arm or if the impact when i landed at the bottom broke it. What class r u running in shelbyville?

i hope ya'll dont mind me posting this here, we race with a lot of guys here and some i know keep up with Josh's racing. we just got back from the doctor. he said Josh was very lucky that usually where the break is causes nerve damage which he has none. he will be in a splint for 4 weels and then another couple weeks to get all his movement and strength back. i want to thank everyone for thei concern and well wishes for Josh. i guess we will be out for 6 to 8 weeks but he says he will be back with a vengence.

i made the templet for your heel guards today. i will go tomorrow and cut them out and bend them up. then i will see if i can find some stainless tubing, might have to be regular steel but i will try to get the stainless. if i have to get regular steel you could have it powder coated yellow to match your quad. rock hill has practice friday night. do you want me to meet you there so you can get used to the moto or just wait till saturday. also bring your number plates. let me know about friday, its up to you.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE REPLYS AND CONCERN FOR JOSH. josh and i really appreciate it. josh may be out of racing for a while but we will still be making it to some of the tracks to support the races. also i will continue my work and fight to make our sport better for everybody. quad racing and just plain riding is in josh and mines blood so we plan on being involved in this sport for a very long time. i havent been able to do any riding myself in a while since we race so much but plan on taking the old warrior out next weekend and raise some hell on it. thanks again

I'm betting that you may have posted this in another thread, but, what type of accident did "Josh" have? ATV racing get off???
Hope he has a full and speedy recovery!

Excellent news I hope he has a quick recovery so the roostin' can begin.

atvman- One of the bad things about being young is not being scared of any obstacle in your way. One of the good things about being young is that you heal fast from wounds. I wish you a speedy recovery and cant wait to start roostin on the track again with you.

Mark,
I too have been anyway for a while. I didn't know he had gotten hurt.
I'm glad to hear that he will be OK. Very good news. He's one helluva rider for his age and I , for one, do look for the updates of your races every weekend.
Get well soon Josh. Hope you get to make it back to Starkville in February.

SORRY MARK, i've been away from the computer for awhile. best wishes to josh. i missed how and what type of injury he got. i saw where you wrote that you did not go to monster mountain, was the injury the cause. get well soon josh!! when you said winter series, you mean the victory sports winter indoor arena cross series. i will be going to it on jan. 24 and 25 in shelbyville, tenn. always 75 to 100 quads. pro class, intermediate, and beginer. four stroke and sportsman class. udually a nice track with quad friendly jumps. hope everybody can make it.

mark, shelbyville, tn is next to nashville (i think, i'll have to check the map to be sure). they will have two seperate races, one on friday and one on saturday. the track is alot bigger than the one in starkville and there will be twice the number of quads. they have five classes, beginner, intermediate, and pro. then they have four stroke and sportsman (i still don't know what sportsman is but is just for four strokes). so a four stroke can run in 3 different classes. it's the weekend before the starkville race. jan. 24 and 25. how did josh wreck?

Sorry to hear about Josh. I've followed you guys on here ever since my accident put me off work. Love hearing the storiesMy doc said my back's bone structure healed up perfectly and now I'm seeing a pysical theorpist to get the muscles built back up. They said I should be able to ride about mid jan and get back to work at the begining of jan (just in time for the state of the union which is about the biggest day of the year for us). Good luck and my families prayers are with you guys, hope you have a great holiday season.

Great news!!!! I was hoping that he didn't need surgey or anything like that. Will he be ready for the winter series? I hope so.
Posted by: MOTOWN
No I'm not gonna make it to rockhill, I gotta go to some b-day parties for my little buddies. But I'm gonna go get some practice at Gonzales on Thurs. and probally Hammond or Avondale on Sun. I've been passing word on to some quad "riders"("riders" cause all they do is drag race and say they would race MX if it were closer) about dec 7 so hopfully we can get a good turnout there. With mike, I think he called Kip today but I'm not sure. I hope he gets finished soon cause I need a fast rider to push me
