There is no slip on for the toaster. You must buy the old headpipe and then you can choose from slip on's from BG, HMF, Graydon...ATV Addiction has the head pipes.

Because it's the old style....

There will never be a slip on for Mr. toaster. Take a look at how the pipe is mase. The headpipe goes into the silencer. There is no clamp where a normal pipe connects to the silencer. Full systems only unless you did my route, old headpipe w/ silencer. I had the toaster and it fell apart inside, and yours will too....They're junk.

Can you get a slip-on for the 03 models??

I am not trying to start anything here, but why then are the slip on pipes sold? For all model Cannondales? I wouldn't think that the people at Alba Action and R&S would advertise a product, sell it to you, and then it not be what you bought. But I guess it's possible.

FWIW, when were at Hollister Hills in July they were testing everybody with their new sound device. To be perfectly honest, the 2 individuals running the tests were not exactly proficient. But at any rate, they gave out stickers to people that passed the 93 db test. I did not participate, but there was a fellow there with a FX400 and the Big Gun pipe and he passed, so I would assume that we should pass also.

And I second the motion, hurry the F up and make a damn pipe for the new style toaster!!!!

I have an '02 Speed with the "toaster" exhaust and I was gonna get the full HMF system til I found out about the sound restrictions that will be enforced in California starting next year. Now I'm thinking about a slip-on that will replace the toaster without modification so I can put it on when I go to the sand and still run the stock exhaust when I'm in the mountains. Is anyone making one yet? I haven't been able to find anything that will mate to my headpipe.

So somebody needs to hurry the F up and make the new style!

The rangers have been telling everyone that as of new years 2003 they will be enforcing a 96 decible sound limit. And my friend said they where actually practicing with their new equipment last time he went riding.
