<< "Captain Carl and the Baxter Duo defeat the CannonPatchKIDS" >>

I'm sorry guys....but that was a good one!!!!!

He can talk the talk....but can he walk the walk????? LETS GET IT ON!!!!!!!! "DING,DING"

Hmmm, imagine that. More BS out of the Captain...

Posted by: Alaska400EX

....And the saga continues....

"Captain" Carl Baxter was born in a small GM engine coating factory during the the Depression. His parents were people of little means, but made the best of it by raising their son in a trailer filled with love and free cheese. They did everything in their power to ensure that "Cappy" would go on to greatness and do all the things they were too poor to do.

"Cappy" dreamed of becoming a mediocre engine coater for General Motors and knew if he only goofed off in school, did plenty of drugs in college, etc; his dreams could become reality. At a young age Cappy would make elaborate tracks in the vacant trailer space next door and run his matchbox cars into the wee hours of the night. His parents would come home from swing shift at the GM plant and find "Cappy" asleep, matchbox collectors box in his grip; muttering how he was going to be part of a mediocre race team one day on things call quads. "Cappy"'s parents chalked his mutterings up to the brown water he drank on a daily basis and also the asbestos fumes from his elementary school.

Although "Cappy"'s parents supported him to his face, they knew he would never amount to more than a disgruntled factory worker forced to make prank phone calls to local taverns. If only his parents had an inkling of what the future would hold! A world of computers, the internet, and forums where their loser son could make blanket statements about things he knows nothing about and challenge people to races....only to back out with lame excuses later. This is part one of the "Captain" Carl Baxter story, there is much more to tell in order to understand the whole person....................JIM

man where were you at. you could have smoked them in the 2 stroke class. ryan ran second with only 2 practice laps and there aint no way you can get your timing down in 2 laps on that track. josh and jason went off and left the rest of the pack. when josh and jason crossed the finish line the rest of the pack was at least a third of a lap behind. dont judge them all by the cap, we met some really nice racers while we were there and most came over to get a good look at the moto. we are going to fernwood tomorrow night to practice and then race rock hill saturday. you gonna make rock hill this weekend ? let me kow. later

im not trying to start anymore crap but i do have a few questions.you said your son was at monster mountian this weekend watching, why was he not racing ? also you keep mentioning a pro class at monster mountian, all they had was a 2 and 4 stroke class, i saw no pro atv class listed anywhere. another thing if you are so big into this why did your team not race this weekend at monster mountian ? if it indeed is your home track then i would have thought you would have know this past weekend was the fist race of a 4 race series. as a matter of a fact the next race is oct. 27 and if it doesnt conflict with a series we plan on running here we will be back in october. you take this how ever yu want but someone there did let the air out of one the rear tires on our dale before the second moto. that tire held 5 and a half pounds of air all day and was checked after every practice and every race. it was checked 30 minutes after the first moto and was fine then 30 minutes later it was completely flat. we aired it back up and ran the second moto and today 2 days after the races it has 5 and a half pounds in it.it dont take a rocket scientist to figure out that someone let the air out of that tire

man you just cant let it go, i wasnt blaming you for anything. i have never heard of the 2 stroke class being the pro class and the four strokes being the beginner class and i believe you probably just started another big argument. you basically just told all thes guys here on the forum that ride four strokes that they are beginners. i guess when your son goes to four strokes he will have to ride in the beginner class then huh. i think you are the one that hasnt been around racing very long. most of this stuff you keep saying is off the wall and nobody has heard of any of these rules you keep making up. have you looked at the forum members that post heres city and state on their post. these are guys from all over the united states that either dont agree with what you are saying or know it is not the way things are done. i tried to be friendly in my last post and just ask a few questions that most here were wondering about and you come back wiht an attitude again. i never blamed you for our tire and it never even came into my mind that you had anything o do with it but you sure did get very defensive about it, ok guys i am done with him for the last time. i tried to have an intelligent conversation and he just wants to continue to put us down. remember guys all of you that ride dales are beginners because they are four strokes.

Posted by: markvette

ok guys we gonna nip this 2 stroke pro class thing in the bud. i have e-mailed monster mountian about this. when i receive an answer i will forward the e-mail to anyone that wants a copy. i am tired of the cap making the rules up and expecting us to believe the bull. be carefull guys cause by the caps own words if you ride a four stroke your a beginner. i tell you cap, special said he wasnt challenging you, I AM bring your team to fernwood mississippi on sept.14 and we will show you our beginner 4 stroke and some bad ass 2 strokes to. man put your money where your mouth is, im sick of all your lies and made up rules. we said we were coming to monster mountian and we did and WON so now be a man and come to mississippi and back up all that horsecrap you keep spouting. if you come i'll even make sure my son gets in one of the classes ya'll run. so now here it is...PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry guys but i have had it with this guy and his crap. i tried to let it lay and even stayed out of this one but he just cant get it through his head that his ideas are his ONLY and NOBODY agrees with him.

hey mrp

ok guys here is the answer i got from monster mountian. it speaks for itself !!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh i did take my e-mail address off

E-mail message

From: BIG039@aol.com Date: Wed, Sep 4, 2002, 3:17pm (CDT+1) To: markvette (Mark) Subject: Re: races
Hello and thanks for your support. We have a 4- stroke class and a 2 stroke class. The 2 stroke is not a Pro Class. They do not get money. If we ever decide to pay money for a Pro Class it will be advertised and 2 and 4 strokes can ride. Our series will be just trophy's but they will be much larger. We just wanted to run our own series and see how many riders participate. If we have a good number of riders we will then be able to get sponsors that will help in the awards. Thanks again and we hope to see you at the next event.
Thanks
Gary

hey guys just got back from fernwood, josh looked good out there on the moto. i think i will let him run a couple of classes next week, 4 stroke and open money and even thinking about bringing the blaster out again. hell all he can do is blow it up again, top ends are cheap for that thing. a little extra cash and 2 trophy's would be nice. might take it out this weekend and break it in, only got about 10 minutes on a new top end. how did you guys like the e-mail from monster mountian. knowsalot i been thinking seriously about that arena cross in starksville, might give you a call for the details. we never done one before but theres always got to be a first time for everything. anybody going to west monroe sept 15 for the start of their series. we are thinking about it and kip wants to do it. be tough racing fernwood sat. night and then driving to monroe and racing sunday but suppose to be some good competition there.well gott go get the track dust off. later guys

Captfrutcake,Bring you BIG mouth to Fernwood so we can get this all setteled.IF your SCARED I will make the trip to Monster Mountain
with Mark next time and enter my begener quad with your boys pro quads to see whats up.

You still didnt reply why your boy is getting a 4 stoke insted of keeping his pro 2-stroke quad.Is he steping down to be a begener.

With all this sarcasim you might as well paint a bullseye on your back cause you are like a target now to alot of us.

I realy dont have nothing against your boys,BUT I REALY wish it was you racing so I can show YOU what its all about.Eather way stomping you or your boys would satisfy me at this point.

Posted by: special

Most people that know me would say im pretty friendly and would go out of my way to help a fellow racer.

But this guy really gets on my nerves and brought the worst out
of me.

I know im no wear near the fastes guy around us but I will make it a point to atleast stomp his a$$.

Posted by: special

When it gets alitle closer to the 26th I will get back with you.Right now we been very busy at work so its hard to tell if I can get away for a hole weekend to get out there.Sounds fun though.

Come and see the dynamic duo blast the compitition away.

Who are these blazzing fast people you ask?

Its Cody and James Baxter......... Need you really ask?

Together with their team manager "Captian Carl Baxter" they will be dominating all the local tracks that no one goes to.

You might remember Captain Carl back in the early 90's dominating all the arenacross races that no one attended of course. He was champion in 93, 94, and 96. 1995 was a rough year because it was the first year someone else besides The Captain entered the race. He had to settle for second that year.

Golly Gee........... If only age had not become a factor. If only The Captain could be the age he acts he would also be dominating the tracks no one rides at along with his two sons.

Later on Captain Carl's life story will be told so stay tuned..... Until then LONG LIVE THE CAPTAIN.

markvette- I was glad to hear everyone did so well at Monster Mountain (and that yall didnt pee in your pants). Im going to try and make both Fernwood and Rock Hill. I broke a stud on my bottom a-arm Friday so I am waiting on Walsh to send me a new one. It should be in tomorrow and I am going to try to get it on so I can go to Fernwood. I am also in a wedding Saturday. It starts at 3 so I am going to try to make it.

Bump Buda Bump Buda Bump Buda Bump Bump Buuump!!!!

ITS THE RETURN OF THE CAPTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Captain Carl please do come out of retirement and show the world how it is done. Maybe you could start giving lessons on how to ride.

By the way, no one asked why you were actually laughing. Do you know why? Because NO ONE cares about you!!!! (except me, you are the best entertainment I have when I am not riding)

"Captain Carl and the Baxter Duo defeat the Cannon Patch KIDS"..... He showed up Monday and spanked the ghosts of the people who had raced there Sunday.

Everyone wants to know what races the Dynamic Duo will be racing? Thats easy, I can answer that one. They will be attending all the races that do not exist at all the races no one will be attending.

You see, back when the Captain first started racing (way before the Duo came along) he went to a track to race and got on everyones nerves. So they started sending him different race fliers to throw him off schedule hence The Captain winning all the races he entered because he was the only one there. To this day they do the same thing to The Captain because he is still the same annoying terd he was way back then.

The Captain knows a thing or two about small turnouts you know, and the reason his son is losing interest is because he is tired of looking like a fool with his dad talking so much trash.

Captian Carl- I would like to invite you and your Duo to a race that will be held September 14, 2002 at Fernwood MX. It is an all quads race and they will have several different classes to choose from. Fernwood MX is located outside of McComb, MS. Its really easy to get to. If you come I wouldnt mind having a little grudge match between YOU and your Duo. I will give you a 30 second lead in a 4 lap race. Then after the 30 seconds is up the Duo and I will take off from the gate. Now I must warn you, there will be other racers there and I know you are not used to others being there when you race but it will be okay. I hope you will accept my challenge and come.

Posted by: MrP

markvette- I dont know of anyone else who is racing this weekend that is close to home. Im coming tonight but I dont know if I will have my quad or not. The counter balance holder is broke and I cant get the stud out of my a-arm. I will be there though.

Posted by: MrP

markvette- Yea I will probably take the weekend off also. Im not going to bring my quad to Ferwood, instead Im going to bring the Cannibal and a friend of mines 250r.

Now are you sure you are qualified to be a team manager?j/k.

Posted by: MrP

MxDale71- Yea Hunter finally got his 450 from Jeremiah. He told me it was not even fair it was so fast. I have never been there. Joe keeps trying to talk me and my Dad into getting over there to race, but I probably want make any TQRA races this year, but I will be at all of them next year. Chaler told me he probably wasnt going to this one either. Next year I am going to race all the Nationals again and the TQRA, so I have to start saving money for next year.

Hmmmmmmmmm

I smell a southern edition of Fourstroke Wars brewing in here.

I say that you guys should come to the Starkville ArenaCross on October 26 and duke it out. Starkville would be the best location for everyone in TN, MS, and AL. Same ammount of drive from either place.

We wont call this one Fourstroke wars since there are both 2 and 4 strokes involved and it's not a drag race.

This WILL determine the fastest guy in the Southeast.

Hell, I will be there as well!! I may get smoked like I've never been smoked before, but yet...I WILL be there!!

Come on CAP'N CRUNCH.......you game or what??

mrp,
i told you that you should have bought some real a-arms like my laegers. you see laegers has an exchange policy going. if you break something on your a-arms and he has come out with an improvement over the previous design, then he'll just sell you a new set of a-arms at 100% retail (because you'll a loyal customer). no, no cheap upgrades for leagers, he will keep his improved parts for him self and you get to keep you old poorly designed a-arms in exchange for buying the new ones. mark, glad hear cappy didn't send his team after yaw. you know my mothers ,uncle's little cousin has a friend that knows a guy that is on an average motox team. maybe i will send him down to spank cappy's boys at monster mountain. well maybe not, since yaw already did.

Posted by: airtimehocutt

captain, i think you should rename your team to the team that nobody can find in the south east. just where can one find your racing team. i would for one like to see this team in action. what races will you and your team be attending?

Posted by: airtimehocutt

will you or your team be attending the next series race at mill creek? i have not ridden thier new super cross track or the new improved motox track. i will be attending the shelbyville, tn indoor areana cross race again this year (victory sports indoor winter series). i would also like to meet you and your team. i'm glad to here your coming out of retirement. also, do you have a phone number or email address to this track in corinth ,ms.

Posted by: efg

NOT!!!!!!

this is pretty good

hey special i think hes too scared to reply

Posted by: yamblaster98

captain carl how can you be so sure?

Posted by: MxDale71

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a true legend of the sport. LOL! Now that was funny MrP.

Posted by: MxDale71

Carl - why don't you come down to Texas and race since apparently you like traveling so much. If your sons and you are as fast as you say, you might find a little competition out of Johnny Hale, Hunter and Cody Miller, Chad Smith, and sometimes Nate Leverenz. From your posts, it sounds like your "team to beat" should have no problems beating 250A, Pro, and Pro-am GNC racers. Or if you come to your sences when you get here, you could still race the Novice class. BR>
Carl, it's not your sons, or your racing... it's your arrogance that annoys people here. You could be Tim Farr or Jerimiah Jones for all I care, but your bragging and thinkin your better than everyone is what makes people almost hate you as much as Corndog.

Posted by: MxDale71

MrP - According to Scott, Hunter Miller is supposed to be racing his new CRF450 quad at the TQRA. You should go man, it'll be at Badlands MX. You haven't ever raced there have you? I got to thinking about it, and all of my "bad" wrecks took place there, but oh well, it's the only track that I can actually ride pretty good at. You should check it out... it has a nice supercross style to it, and yet it is quad friendly... the owner, Russ, will make sure of that since he is the director of the TQRA and he really likes the quad riders.

Markvette - You should check it out too. I don't think it's 500 miles away from you... probably more like 499 miles But seriously though, it's an all quad race and there will be some good competition there. Check out the website at www.badlandsmx.com or check out the TQRA website at www.tqra.com

Funny stuff. I'm actually laughing.

Why you ask??

Because the day still hasn't came and when it does....I get to post my say and trust me.....I WILL be sure to post plenty of pics of the eventful day.

What races will we be attending??

We attend Monster Mountain on a regular basis, but travel to other popular tracks from time to time as well.

We usually stick to just a few unless it goes elsewhere when are in running for a major championship. Kilpatrick in Titus,Alabama. Tri-StateSX in Corinth,Miss. CalhounSX in Calhoun,Georgia. And we went to a few races this summer at CountyLineMX in PanamaCity,Florida.

As you can see, we DO cover the south east and ARE the team to beat. My boys won the Pro class at monster Mountain two years in a row prior to this year. They also won the track championship at Calhoun,GA last year. This year, we have lightened the load a bit because James was having some problems with school and Cody just doesn't have the same interest that he once did.

I, am planning on running a slew of arenacross races this winter dotted all across the south and plan to once again try and win a prestigous title one way or another. Not bragging. Just trying to get my rythme back.

If I see you at any of the races, I will stop over and say Hi. James is wanting to go to four strokes next year, so maybe i have some R parts you might be interested in.

Captain

Posted by: CaptainCarl

Not trying to start anything huh? If you say so. If you don't like my answers then don't ask.

If you have noticed, I said last week that Cody hasn't been into racing as much lately. He went to watch and hang with his friends. He was most likely with the same bunch of guys you guys were talking to.

The two stroke class IS the Pro class at Monster Mountain. The past two years, the flyers do not mention this nor do the race entry forms, but that's the way it's always been there. That's also why the two strokes leave the gate before the four strokes when there is a small turnout of quads. There are normally over 30 entries on any given race day there. About 20 of them being two strokes. You guys were running the beginner class of sorts.

As for the tire, I have had more than one mysterious flat tire from time to time. If you haven't had one before this weekend, you haven't been around ATVs very long at all. It happens to everyone. No one let the air out of your tires and to imply that I had something to do with it is ridicualous. You worded your post to avoid pointing blame, but you wouldn't have mentioned it in the context that you did if you weren't. Get over it. You had a flat. You aired it up and won the race due to a small turnout. Big deal. You are in over your head with this one.

airtimehocut, I don't think that TriState has a website but I always keep phone numbers in case of bad weather. The number is 662-287-9665 And YES,I do have a home phone!!
