I made the mistake of backing it out too far and what a pain. My hands are too big to get up in there to put it back in so I kept dropping it and having to search for the spring and screw. Turned a 10 minute job into a couple hours.

Make sure your looking at the screw when your backing it out.

I was having stalling problems until I realized the idle screw was backing out. I turned the spring around and now it idles up instead. I am going to try some locktite to see if that helps. Anyone else have this issue?

I have the Maint/Diag software and cables I was wondering how do you know when the throttle body is fully closed. I have heard that you can back the idle screw out too far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have to look to see that the screw isnt touching the tab on the bellcrank. If you back it off to far it will fall out it is a pain to get it back in since it is spring loaded but it really isnt that big a deal.
The throttle setting is real important Cannondale has posted a new manual called Electrical/EFI Service Manual P/N:5002401 it takes quite a while to download and print it but it is well worth it it answers your questions on page 35.
