Okay, finally have my first problem.....
The Dale is cutting out at a certain RPM, somewhere around 7-8,000 rpms if I had to guess. It just dies on me. No matter what gear I'm in or what the throttle position is. It will not "pop" start right after it first shuts down. I have to hit the start button to start it.
Anyone know of a sensor in there that might be kicking in too early?

Yeah, it's a brand new fuel filter. Starting to think it's a faulty ground somewhere. With my lights on, it cuts out as soon as I hit the throttle. So it's def. an electrical problem somewhere. I'm tearing into it tonight.

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? Sounds like it could be starving for fuel. Just a thought

I had the same problen and it was a loose battery terminal. I tightened it and it never happened again.
