Blackbird,
Which bike do you like better and which one is faster?

Sure it's the shocks? Have you checked the control arms for free movement?

Aren't they the same as whats on the speed?

If you are referring to the Dale or the Z, I say it all depends on how you ride. I personally like the Dale better, it has way more power. The Z is no slouch though. The Dale is not meant to be rode slow, as the Z will permit it. The Dale accelerates like a mutha if you can keep traction, and keep the front down! The Z is a little more docile. If you want to trail ride with 4X4's, buy the Z. If you want to rip, get big air, climb long steep hills, do alot of maintenance, and leave most others in the dust, buy the Dale!

Then again you could always put the Big Papa 450 kit on the Z. I haven't heard any dynos on it yet though. Maybe someone else has.

BTW, the Suzuki suspension is not nearly as favorable as the Dale's if you ride aggressive. If you go slow the Suzuki is more plush.

Stock for stock the Zuki is way quieter. The Dale has alot of gear noise, and the pipe is louder than the Z's.

Oh yeah, the Dale vibrates a lot more than the Z. If you get the Speed, tighten the SH!T out of the plastic bolts (within reason) I've lost two already. (my fault had plastic off and didn't tighten enough, vibrated out). The vibration isn't enough to make it annoying to ride.

I have some new Blaze Ohlins on the way. My regular Ohlins were to stiff for Harescrambles. So I have an extra pair of Ohlins that are practically new laying around. Is there any demand out there to sell them or should I keep them for a backup?

I greased the A-arms/softened the spring and it made a world of difference this weekend. But, I have already ordered the new ones and they are on the way. I race HS in MO and they love to run you over the rocky/roughest land available so I need evey little bit of suspension I can get. The body can't take what it used to. Besides, I like to put little extras on my play toys.
