I found an easier way to remove the rear engine oil filter cover. Buy a cheap 14 mm wrench and cut it in half. This gives you alot more movement in between the exhaust and the rear shock. Made it alot easier.

6 hot dogs? Loser! I can do 7.... :-)

Also, I put some of the 3M clear stick-on plastic over my frame where my boots rub. Keeps me from grinding dirt into frame. Looks pretty good.

I used to be able to down 6 hotdogs at one sitting... Not sure if this is what you meant by post your tips/tricks, but it could help someone..........JIM

Cool, an even better idea is to replace/clean your main oil filter frequently and you don't even have to worry about cleaning the rear oil filter. Going through the hassle of dismantling the entire rear section to get to that rear filter once, I found it was clean as a whistle. I just attributed it to my frequent cleanings of the main oil filter.
