I have fouled an 8 and a 9 in my speed in 5 rides at the track.
I need to get the map I think.

Have you had the cold weather update done? According to R&S, that will help alleviate those quads that are experiencing the fouled plug
problem.

Call Kyle or Carey at R&S Performance, they are very knowledgeable on this. I'm not sure it's really an issue of whether you are in a colder climate or not, more to do with a setting on a fuel injector but those guys can better explain it to you.

I have fouled one plug, and changed it from an 8 to a nine, per R/S performance's recommendation, and I have probably 15 hours on the new plug with not a single problem.

i have about 20 hours on my"C"
got home early last night and wanted to take it for a spin
bam...4th time i've fouled a plug since buying it
i follow the start up procedure to the letter...
i keep the battery on a trickle charger so its always charged...
anybody else fouling plugs?
it wouldnt be a big deal if it wasnt such a pain in the arse to change.

if the engine is cold(i've never fouled one on a warmed up engine)why would the hotter plug make the difference?
how many hours do you have on your motor canman?

i am currently running a 9

is there a way to determine if you have the cold weather update?
i mean, short of taking it to the dealer?
also being in central fla. cold weather is really not an issue
is it a cold engine or cold weather update?

I fouled one 1st time I started it. Changed out the plug from a 9 to an 8, no problems since then. The 8 is a hotter plug.

I'm not sure why the hotter plug has not fouled. The dealer said it is the one the factory recomended. I have about 25hrs on it now.

I fouled a plug the second day of having my cannibal. I took out a 9 and replaced it with a 8 and havn't had any problems since.
