I think you just bought this quad on ebay. Why else would all the sudden be proclaiming yourself the owner of the worlds trickest tecate.

Just seemed strange that all of a sudden in different posts you were posting that it is the worlds trickest tecate and I did just remember seeing it on ebay, thats all. Not trying to start anything. It is pretty trick though. I love the old green beasts, only sold mine because it was IMPOSSIBLE to find parts for it. Kinda wish I didn't though (man it was fast). Oh well, too late. I got $3000 for it which wasn't a bad deal. The thing that was tough for me was getting front plastic. Mine was in real good shape but it had a small crack near the gas tank and I wanted to replace it. I tried many different places and couldn't find any so it kinda bummed me out about getting parts for it. Kawasaki didn't seem to have anything in stock anymore.

Yeah I kinda regret selling it now but my wife and I are building our house in a couple of months and the money really helped. We bought 24 acres last year and are putting the house on it, as well as the atv track which is mostly done. Too bad you lived so far away you could come check it out. A couple other guys from the forum have been there and will hopefully come back this year. I really wish Kawie would build their 250 2 stroke racer.

I live in NY, about an hour from Buffalo. Probably about 3.5 hours from Cleveland. The trick was I got my wife a four wheeler and got her out riding a lot last year so she loves it as much as I do.

killerfx, your bike rocks. I also own a trick Tecate (as well as a Cannondale) I will post pictures soon. I am a collector and it is nice to see someone taking the fastest stock 250 EVER and making it even badder. I will be in touch.

I STARTED OUT WITH MILD MODS TO THE MOTOR,39 MM CARB,V-FORCE REED CAGE,KX POWERVALVES,PVL IGNITION,SPROCK RACING CONE PIPE AND ANSWER CARBON FIBER SILENCER,REPLATED THE CYLINDER,PORTING ,MILD HEAD MODS,I HAD THE WISECO PISTON LIGHTENED,TEFLON COATING ON THE SKIRT AND NICKEL PLATING ON THE HEAD OF THE PISTON,THEN I WENT TO WORK ON THE SUSPENSION.I STARTED WITH A COMPLETE SET OF DUAL RATE NO PRELOAD CUSTOM AXIS SHOCKS,STOCK SWINGARM,RAD RACING TAPERED BEARING CARRIER,DOMINATOR AXLE,+3+1 A-ARMS WITH KING PIN BALLJOINTS AND UPPER HIEMS,THOSE WERE CUSTOM BUILT BY HERRMANN RACING,VERY TRICK PIECES.,FASTLINE BRAKE LINES,PRO TAPERS,BILLET AOF CLUTCH PERCH.I'M SURE THERE IS SOME OTHER STUFF I'M FORGETTING,BUT YOU GET THE IDEA ,THATS THE BIG STUFF.

jmoney45 i am the owner of this tecate 4,and i am the one who put it on e-bay to see what kind of response i would get on it.unforunately it didn't turn out as well as i thought it would.although it didn't matter ,cause i put the reserve so high that it wouldn't have sold anyway.heres a link you can click on and as you will see ,killerkx327 is the seller of this machine.and i am the only owner of it also.the reason i'm proclaiming that i have the trickest tecate is becuase i built it myself and it is the trickest tecate 4 that i have ever seen or built.ok heres the link go check it out for yourself

jmoney,how much did you end up getting out of that thing anyway? i talked to you before about it.i'm surprised you don't remember me.you really shouldn't have got rid of that thing.they aren't that hard to get parts for.but now whatever you get,you will just be a run of the mill quad rider.ever other quad in existence is a dime a dozen.when you have a tecate 4 ,it doesn't matter where you go with you will be the center of attention.
