When polaris made the plastic change in 04-05 alot the ex. fits needed to have a few minor changes. On the 500 we have not had a new one in our shop yet to confirm if the header will or will not need any changes, the slip-on and or silencer should remain the same though.

We will have our system fitted and updated for that model soon. It sounds like it's pretty close though.

I see on the HSP website that the pipe for the newer bikes is available soon. What are the differances from 02-07??? What will be differant for these bikes?? I have an older pipe that I want to put on my 07, and it looks the same other than the heat shields. Same bends and stuff. Can you fill me in. Thanks Todd

Well I test fitted the pipe and can. The header off of the engine must be a little differant angle, but it fit's and doesn't leak. The pipe under the plastic is closer to the frame, away from the plastic. The can is VERY close to the rear spring, and is resting on the stabilzer bar. So it does fit, but not well LOL I'm not sure if I'll keep it on or not. Time will tell.
