We have just completed our testing on our new go-fast cams for the sportsman 600/700 and ranger xp models. We are seeing over a 3 mph gain in 8 seconds on our acceleration tests. The cams are in stk. and ready to ship. These cams are designed for everyday trail, mud, hill climb use. Reliability is still ok these arn'trace cams or anything like that. If you have any ?'s please let us know.

Cam kit is 517.00 come with valve springs and gaskets for 02-04 models. Cluthcing changes will need to be made, and a main jet change is needed as well, other than that you do not need to change anything else we do suggest head poritng, ex system, and for your application you might want to consider the 800 primary clutch this will help bottom end quite a bit.

The clutch helps that much more, the cam ads power every where, In an 8 second acceleration run your quad will be 3-4 mph faster.

On the weights, I'd suggest starting with some 60's you should turn 6200-6400 rpm with that set-up. Were are you getting a higher comp. piston from?

No as far as I know there arn't any aftermarket pistons available for the polaris twins?

If you paln on getting a aftermarket cam you need to make sure that you still have plenty of valve spring clearance, and piston to valve clearance too you might have to get some custom push rods made if you cut you head at all, the lifters don't allow to much to be cut off of the head. If you wna tyou cna send your entire engine to us and we cna cut your head if you want us to and make sure the cam and everythign is else would be ok clearance wise.

how much hp/tq gains have you seen?
i already have an 800 clutch, are you recommending this because the cam loses bottom end, or the clutch improves it that much more?
thanks

im getting more serious about this kit.
ive got the motor out of the quad now, and i might as well do the deal while its accessable.
i have a 800 clutch, with a green spring and 57 or 58 weights i bought from you guys just a few months ago.
with this cam kit, along with a higher compression piston, will i need to change my clutching, or will i be fine.
the spring and weights were originally purchased for 27" tires with k/n and a header/pipe combo.
thanks!

well. thats no good.
can the head be shaved any for a bump in compression?
it overheated, so it prolly needs a surfacing anyway.
