No matter who you choose for a quad company you are going to run into a problem sooner or later what matters is are they going to help you or not. In my opinion right now polaris is tough to beat in any class of atv. So I would go with them.

I rented a 330 trailboss and Winrock a couple years ago. We had to put a chain and two tires on it before we could take it out on the trails. (we had spares and it was all the rental co. had so we had to do it if I wanted to ride.) It was a very comfortable ride and plenty of power for all the trails we were on. Some trails were dificult and three of four riders had 4x4 and me on the 330. I had to be pulled or towed a few times but since it was a rental I rode it pretty hard and went places that if I owned the machine I probably wouldnt have tried. I beat it pretty good and it held up remarkably well. People wont take care of it if they dont own it. Good luck.

check out www.southernpowersports.com there prices can't be beat I realize they'd have to be shipped to australia but it still may be cheaper than getting them locally even with the shipping charges. I would strongly recomend the 2005 sportsman 500 h.o The engines are rock solid reliable and they ride like caddys, your customers will love them. This is all they use is Alaska and when I went the guide had the 6x6 so he could carry all the support equipment, lunch, drinks, etc. Good luck at getting started

Hi,
i am looking at setting up a tour company using Quads ,i was just wondering what would be your preference on which quad to use,
I was thinking of using the Polaris 330 as the auto and general ergonomics are good,
though trying to find the truth about reliablity is near imossible,
i would appreciate any imput,

thanks for that, from these forums its near impossible to get a realist idea of whats good,
i have found the 330 trailboss to be a good allrounder,
i just need to find some one that wants to see me 6 for a good price,
