Yes, plan on having a full exhaust system, our own cam design, head work, big bore clutching, filters, and this stuiff will work on the prowler as well.

Delta next time just start a new topic if its a different topic but no big deal, we do offer just as many parts for the 600 as we do the 700 most of them are exactlly the same but cluthcing and jetting are different from one to the other. We offer exhaust, cams, cluthcing, intake mods, filters, head work, and all other kinds of misc. bolt ons as well if you wish go on-line and order one of our catalogs or just click on the ad above to go to our site. For sure you are going to want to add as much as you can since you put those big tires on it if you do decide to go with any mods make sure they know you have the larger tires.

Donal, we are wiating for our prowler right now as well can't wait.

Sorry nothing for the jap stuff we used to have a really good relationship with polaris but that not the case any more. A/C is really good to us we build over 100 + engines for there snowmobile race team every year. But right now our main foucus os going to be a/c and polaris models.

Thank you weez440.
Posted by: Speedwerx
Yeah, we have had ours for a couple of weeks now. Have a couple other projects to wrap up before we can get started on anything though.
Posted by: Speedwerx
Any time we take apart a 4 stroke motor and rebuild it we hear the exact same thing Even if we put it back to stk. ALot of times with different cams you will create more valve noise. But this is most likly what you are hearing is valve train noise. Does it sound like a tick?
Posted by: Speedwerx
Our intake kit comes with all the proper jetting for sea level applications we send out a 170 and 175 main jet, which should work fine for your application and you shouldn't have to switch back and forth from our set-up to the stk. one. For starters if youget the stk filter wet you it turns to moosh, adn our set-up is designed to take on the toughest of terrain and conditions.
Posted by: Speedwerx
With our kit we run a outerwear and if will not alow moisture through it. So wateris not an issue. Unless you comletely subed that machine.
Posted by: Speedwerx
Your local polaris delaer should be able to get you a new motor and the price should be very close to 3500 for a new short block.
Posted by: Speedwerx
What is it that you don't like about our current system?
Posted by: Speedwerx
Pie works good hp gains arn't huge seeing that it's a 4 -stroke but it's defineatly better than stk. It decilbles out at 97db which is louder than stk. but it's still legal in all parks and trails if tested properly. On the clutching you won't need a kit but changes will have to be made so your machine will run @ the proper rpm. We put the kits together to take away all of the guess work or learing curve / head ache it can be for someone who doesn't know much about cluthcing + we have tested alot of different set-ups and found the one in our kit to work the best for our pipe. If you are serious about adding hp then you should get one of our cams and let us port your head.
Posted by: Speedwerx
We already have our 600cc top end kit, cam shafts, and head porting. We plan on having full and slip-on exhaust, filter kit, high flow intake, and we are workign on spring kits right now too.
Posted by: Speedwerx
???? What ? were you ready and were?
Posted by: Speedwerx
Most of the time the clutch kit is the best way to go for starters. Our slip-on will add more bottom end and midrange pwer to the machine too. We also offer a full system too. Check out our web-site www.speedwerx.com if you ahve any ?'s give us a call or post them on here thanx 651-982-6020
Posted by: Speedwerx
We will have a full lin eof product avaialbel but at this time we do not have anything ready to go. Keep an eye on our website for updates. Or check back with us late fall.
Posted by: Speedwerx
Need to know exactly what mods are done to the machine but a jetting change will need to take place if you remove our ex. and go back to the stock set-up.
Posted by: Speedwerx
If you just remove the ex. you can go back to the stock jetting specs.

As long as you looking for negative feedback as well....you guys need to design a better exhaust system, if you havnt already. It would be cool if you still had your current systems, but also offered a race only system. Just my 2 cents. Love the rest of your stuff though, keep up the good work.
Posted by: ProBlaster92
The muffler is too restrictive and quiet, and the headpipe is no different than the stock one. It doesnt eliminate that goofy bend right off the head with the spings like my PC does. The PC goes all the way back to the cylinder and is slightly larger and smoother. I think your muffler would be better if it had a bigger end cap instead of that pea shooter. Also, no offense, I dont think your system looks very good either, and it sure doesnt sound good. I dont mean any offense, I just think you guys could do better, thats all. My brother has your full exhaust on his Trailboss 325 and neither off us care for it. Its heavy too, not much lighter than stock, and it rusts out like the stock system, my PC doesnt rust up like that. I like your other products but the exhaust needs to be reworked. Again no offense.

i notice you guys deal directly with arctic cat and polaris which are made in minnesota which everyone knows but what about the guys who desire more power out of their foreign made machines? are you guys more inclined to deal with the american built products? and if i wasn't gonna get rid of my 650 in the near future i would buy the pipe for it and have you guys decided to get into the dirtbike industry at all because well in about a year i will be looking at getting more beef out of my lil 125 to tie me over till i upscale the size of my dirtbike.
Posted by: weez440
if you guys dont' have a good relationship with polaris why deal with them and well i was curious about the dirtbike and stuff cause everyone knows now that KTM and polaris have a partnership. but thank you for your answers and keep up the good work.

Any work done on the new Outlaw. Just checking in. I know you guys said the end of the summer? What might you be working on? i had some of your stuff on my Predator I raced in the GNCC's the past three years and it is very frustrating to be racing a close to stock Outlaw. It is mid season and I love your products.
Patiently waiting, Big Chuck.

A couple of questions for you. I've seen your ad in print and online. I don't see alot of parts (specifically) for the 600 sportsman. It seems most of the parts are directed @ 700 / 800's.
Do the parts for the 700 work on the 600? I installed 27" mudlights, a K&N and plan on header and exhaust system. I have read that alot of people change the springs / helix in the transmission. I haven't noticed a great deal of change since the tires, except it won't pull the wheels in low when taking off. Any other modifications that might give it a little more performance without major work / money.

Hi speedwerx. I have a question that I hope I can get a solid answere on. Is it common for a polaris predator to have what sounds like a small rod knock at idle. I did not own this when it was new and the guy I bought it from said that it has done that since it was like new. That same guy bought it new. It is supposed to have a 12.5-1 piston, ported head with 1mm bigger valves and newer stock cams. The cam sprockets spun on the cams, thats why he had the work done, so he says. It does run like a champ and is powerfull, and I have put about 20 hrs on it since I have owned it. So is this common and should I worry about it? Thanks, RUSS
Posted by: predator90boy
yea i have one of there sprockets, k&n air filters, porting, intake & carb kits and power pipe kit. Did my quad WONDERS!
Posted by: predator90boy
but only if they had a 110cc big bore kit for a pred 90...id buy from u even tho other companies make them because u guys rock, but mostly cuz i havent dealed with them yet
Posted by: SouthernQuadRacer
I was wanting to know about the pro flow air kit for the predator. My questions are what the jetting needs to be incresed to. I have an HMF slip-on and it is already jetted out 155. Also what about the dyno-jet product, here in Missouri one week it will be dry as a bone and the next I might have to go through a 4ft deep creek to get to the local track so I might have to switch between the stock filter and your filter system. It would be a pain to rejet once a week.
Posted by: SouthernQuadRacer
If I did get water up to the filter my motor sholdnt take on water?
Posted by: SouthernQuadRacer
Thanks for the help. I plan on that being the next thing for that bike, i have to get my 250r runing first and then I will probably use the Predator for manly dunes, and the ocasinal drag race.

I recently destroyed my motor on an 03 predator. I've looked and looked but can't find anywhere to buy a knew one. Its going to be 3000 to rebuild it. Is it worth it to buy a knew motor,if so do you know anywhere to do that.

Speedwerx, just wondering a little about your pipe for a scrambler 500; hp gains, and sound levels, i dont' want something too loud, and do u need a clutch kit for it?
Thanks
Posted by: XtremeRacer
Hi, I read you question, and I may have an answer. See, I had the same problem with my kfx 400, though I bought it new. It was what sounded like a clicking at the top of the motor, the head, when it ran at idle. We took it apart and found that the cam chain had stretched a little. Dont ask how, it just did. The noise was the loose cam chain hitting the chain guide, or tensioner. To fix the problem we simply bought a new cam chain and put it in. The sound was gone!! Though if you plan to do this operation, do get a servise manual so you know how to properly dissasemble and assemble the engine. Make sure to replase all old gaskets, oil ext. Thank you and good luck

heyy i just bought a 2000 scrambler 500 and i was woundering what you would suggest for first mod clutch kit, primary, white bros slip on or bigger carb any info is great thanks.
Posted by: sparks1032
OK, I am not sure if I needed to start a new topic but I was wondering when you guys will have some stuff for the 2007 predator 50 my son has swamped the thing and can hardly stay with his older brother (he has a 90) it appears this 50 is a WIMP so some needed performance would be appreciated!

Hey Guys, New to the forum here... I just bought a '03 Scrambler 500 with all your goodies on and in it.... I want to go back to the stock exhaust system. I want my wheeler to be quieter!! It currently has the whole package!!!! I want to know if I go back to stock exhaust (Pipe and Muffler), DO I need to rejet or can I leave your jet kit in without damaging the motor??? Any info would be appreciated...
PS- Anyone wanna trade stock pipe for a HSP pipe and Muffler?????
Posted by: 1smokin50
Well I just bought it a month ago...I'm the third owner. These are all of the mods to the Scrambler. Hot Seat Performance: Full exhaust (pipe/can), K&N pre-filter & Fliter, stock clutching ( the hsp kit was installed, but the helix and spring were shot),Jet kit from HSP/Speedwerx, stock airbox,Mudlites all the way around (proper size),stock spark plug.
If this doesn't help maybe I should stop in @ the shop up in Flake (Forrest Lake). I'm having issue's now with the pipe not wanting to seal @ the front spring flange gasket looks ok...but I'm gonna try to replace it first.. Don't get me wrong here I love your stuff, I just wanna be able to ride without pissing off the world...

Thank you, for the info......
