Rhino's have a rear stabilizer bar.
I personally think that a good quality set of 1/2 doors, and a 4 or 5 point harness will do a lot more for safety than wheel spacers will. You get what you pay for I guess, because it cost more that way as well.

No, the spacers can give you more width which will make for a slightly more stable ride, though there will be added bump steer and stress on the drivetrain from moving the leverage of the tires further away from the spindle.
Had a friend dump a Rhino over a couple weeks ago...passenger broke their leg trying to brace themselves...(That's why my 1/4 doors are on the way....went to the hospital where they performed surgery to repair the leg. He then went to post op and they forgot about him for 3 hours...when they came back his alarms had been going off but ignored as he vomited and aspirated it into his lungs leaving him brain dead....the family pulled the plug last Thursday.
Be careful out there folks, that's the key ingredient to safe fun with any off road vehicle!!

can you get a rear end stableizer bar? that would help, take away from wheel travel though just a little.

buy a prowler or a ranger , then you won't hafta worry about roll overs.

I am an experienced safe rider operator with a back ground as a profressional mechanic.
I always operate a vehicle in it's limits. My only real concerns have come from this forum
I have heard literal Horror stories from experienced people having Rhino's flip on them while
opertaing them in a resonable manner. The story from the website Rhinosrollover.com
also gives me pause. I reall appricaite your info, and I will keep posting as my decision becomes

So spacers do not make the Rhino inherently more stable, they are just for fittment of non OEM tires/wheels?

The number one thing you can do is drive it with common sense. The second thing you can do is replace the tires. most folks here find the stock tires to be junk, only good enough to roll the rhino off the dealer floor. They are 2 ply tires which squirm in turns due to soft sidewalls, leading to rollovers; and they puncture as easy as a toy balloon.
Get a 6 ply tire. ITP, AMS, and Kenda are quality brands who make tires for the rhino. The type tire you need is determined how you ride/use the rhino. Tell us where you ride, (dirt,sand,snow,mud) and we can make suggestions for you.
As for the spacers, spacers are used when you are running a wider/ taller tire than stock, and the tire is rubbing the wheel well in turns. Most folks who run those usually buy a tire/rim combo with rims having the proper offset.
Next to the tires, you can also replace the axles with a longer, heavier setup from Gorilla.

I can't keep mine out of the shop long enough to roll it over,,,, what a disappointment. ..... been on hold to yamaha, longer than I 've gotten to ride it..........
