Don't overlook the Kubota RTV900 if you are looking for a work UTV. Built to last, but a bit expensive. No belts, a hydraulic bed lift, and optional auxilary hydraulics for attachments.

the 500 ranger is a good machine. classified as farm equipment, it can run in the sand too!!! there is also a carb swap out that gives it as much power as the 700 efi's

I am looking at these three models to get into a utility vehicle. I was just looking for experiences anyone might have with them. I know the Ranger 500 has been talked about on here both good and bad. The Cub has the best warranty 2 year on engine (Kohler Command so I doubt if that will be needed and 2 years on the whole machine) and the local dealer has really good service (Week test drive to make sure it fits what you want it for. The Treker looks to be the heaviest built with 20 horse honda motor, electric bed lift, $500 of accessories to boot. Don't know much about the Polaris the local dealer sucks for service but I have found a dealer about 1 hour away that has a really good price on the Ranger 500 4x4 and is really has given some good info. The price on the Ranger puts all these in the same price range. I just wanted to get some opinions out there. The new Cub 4x4 with the sealed CVT seem to be a hot item around here. Any thoughts or opinions?

We just picked up our Cub Cadet 4x4 (yellow) looks great but when I accessorize it , it will look like the CSI Hummer Enjoy it if it was your choice. I did not like the Kubota due to the fact I prefer bucket seasts and not a bench seat
