Four weeks in Glamis! Now that's an avid duner. I don't think I've ever lasted past two weeks at a time out there.
With that said. Let's hear the "total" shakedown report.

Thanks for the updates. I have a couple questions about the Venom 800. Do you know the amount of wheel travel, front and rear? What is the stock hp?
Thanks

with all the trobs and tribulations you folks have had with the mamba's, would you recommend them?

Strapping is simple , I used to use old seat belts ,when I raced VW bugs , the strap just prevents the shock or suspension from over extending ,
Make it go from the top of the shock mount to the lower shock mount .

That will be a great, if you can keep us posted, about his experience with this buggy. Because sure will be not superior quality, but don't forget we are talking about two seat off road go cart with price tag less then higher end quads. We need to give them little slack, I think. Don't forget almost all kid size quads are made in china or taiwan and some of then are sold here under brand names and their quality grow impressively . Will be interesting how this buggies will developed . But only way to find out will be from owners not from sellers, who don;t even know how many cylinder engines are in it.

Will be interesting, if they all are made by same china company and, if any is more quality wise then other.
This look little different.

Thunder does use the same ingine, it also has bigger shocks, different suspension and frame, turbo option, guages etc.
Toy junkies sells the more traditional 800 with the turbo as well.
MotoUS has a different suspension with 24" gas shocks all a round and a beefed up front end.
Dave at awesome buggy has video of his hurricane in the desert."
Any idea which one is a best built and have good quality ? Reason I em asking, because you see such big difference in prices.
And Q. for owners in CA, is a easy to register them with DMW ?

What size of the wheel and tires they use on it ?
Maybe just measure the distance on the wheel bolts , maybe
sand tires with wheel from some quads could fit.

It does look real nice from the 1 pic. It would be nice to see more pics from a bunch of views . Even with more pics I wouldnt want to be the first one to buy one. Especially if i was going to have it shipped. And the guy who is selling it cant even tell how many cylinders it has. You got to wonder if hes even seen one or if they just drop shipped the crates to the first 2 customers. I also find it interesting that they say they sold 2 of them but there isnt any feedback for a sale of one yet. Ill keep a eye on it, and if any one leaves feed back for buying one I'll ask them how they like it.

After looking at more pics Ive got to wonder what small car that engine came out of. It looks to have a timing belt and a car like alternator too. I definitely wouldnt be the first one to buy one without test riding it some where that you gould get some air with it and see what happens then. There are a few guys here who have turned their 150 carts into decent performing carts, so anything is possible. I just wonder how likely it is.
