The pipe is really where you will get your power... among other things.

I used a white bros CDI and didn't see any performance gains.

This forum rocks! I have found so much info on my Twister here. I have had it about a year. Same issues as everyone else; reverse cable, loose bolts, needs more power, etc. I busted the chain tension mount bolt last weekend. So it's out of commision until the parts comes in. I have read lots of posts about performance upgrades and still can't make a decision on what to start with. I keep reading about using a CDI from a XR/CRF on this thing.

Has anyone done this? Is it worth the $70? Are there better prices elsewhere? Does it plug right in?

I really don't want to spend $275 for a HP kit from www.eastsidems.com

Any input on this would be great.

Thanks

Your right this forum does rock with all the info on the twisters. I would just like to know where I can get a pipe for mine? Any websites outthere? Thanks Safooma for the website with the CDI. I'm thinking about getting one and some new jets and try it out. I'll let you know how it turns out. But I'd really like to get a pipe for mine before I do anything else.
