The lower back pain I think would be a problem with all machines like the ranger.....my neighbor complains about his Rhino also. The problem is that you can't get the correct angle on your back when riding and if you ride hard, you will get beat. I would suggest that you get one of the foam lumbar supports to put in behind your back. They make them for chairs, etc. they work pretty well from people I've talked to, it will help keep the correct angle on your spine....

Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced lower back pains from using the Ranger?
I have been using one at work for the past 1/2 year and now every time I get on it and do any off-roading my back kills. I'm not saying this is the source of my problems but I do suspect it as a problem with the design of the Rangers. Due to the fact that you cannot stand up and get off the Ranger's seat in those rough, bouncy spots, like you can on normal quads, the rider is subjected to all of the shock at the seat and up the spine.
Before anyone mentions excess speed, my speed is kept at a safe level for the most time. There are a few instances where I can remember going a little fast and hitting ruts but generally the speed is kept down.

If anyone has any suggestions or comments I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks

Just minor to moderate pains in and around the tailbone. Lower back. Pretty stiff some mornings, usually the day after I was on the Ranger for a couple of hours.
