VERY NICE Ranger vquad!

you gotta love that ease of starting and smooooooth operation at all temps. i think you're gonna love it. i had a Sportsman700EFI last year and that engine was top-notch.

if there was a place to ride an ORV around here i'd consider one. they are illegal on the trails around here.

great for farms though.

enjoy!

the Ranger 700EFI is a limited edition and you won't find it on the website. it's a very limited build. my local dealer swapped his to NH. i think he's NUTS! he could have sold it himself!

Nice rig,I just bought the 2005 500 ranger last sat, traded my sportsman 700 in for it.I"m going to take it out next sat for a spin ( I can:t wait). I think It would be cool to get a camper shell made out of the same stuff as the dump bed with windows and a back latch . Then I would Install a carpet kit, if anyone knows about any after market shells let me know.

what a blast...very impressive
positives.............
smooth riding, polaris knows irs, topped out on a bumpy trail it felt like pavement!
very quiet
0-30 mph is a rush
26" tires
tons of storage
gps top speed was 40 mph...dont fret...it gets there VERY fast for a big machine, prarie speedo next to me read 43,this was with a full tank of gas,my wife and 2 coolers in the back
excellent handling
incredible in the mud!
seats 3
huge dump bed
negatives.............
needs tilt steering wheel
low gear is VERY touchy on the throttle
ergos are obviously for a taller person

27"mudlites and itp rims on the way!let the mods begin!

as far as CDI boxes, Dynojet is working on the new Power Commander for the 2005 700 EFI and 800 EFI. I contacted them, they said they are still dyno'ing....so hopefully they will get it soon....

But, don't think it will work with the XP, but you can contact them....

the ranger xp engine is more or less a detuned 700 efi atv engine. If you really want to see it go, swap computers with a ATV. Maybe other minor engine differences? anyone know for sure?

I have the same unit, I love your rims. What are the sizes of the rims and tires? Also did you have to change the lugs? Are the rims the c-series type 5 with a 4x156mm lug pattern?

Posted by: ptesinc

VQUAD,

Thank You!! I can Post you Pic.
Also do you know what lug pattern I need to get the rims?
I plan to use this toy in the sand, not shure if bigger is better on the tires what do you think?

thanks
