You wont be sorry for waiting kczukiman, There is nothing from china in the 150 class that even comes close to the Jetmoto. and just for the record.....That extremely pleasant lady at RaceWayAtv is Darlene.

I know its not a jetmoto but for now she thinks that will be the best for her.

But I promise when its my turn to purchase a new quad, I will get the jetmoto 250!

Good to hear your wife is doing good enough to want to ride a quad kczukiman. I would want her on the quad SHE felt the safest on too. I liked the floorboards on the roketa. And as funny as drum brakes on chinese quads are. (Keep water away from them) I would guess she will probably do most of her braking with the rear brake anyway.

LOL Sure you will.

But here is a good question: The ATV came with a small tool bag and when it died in the woods, I took the spark plug out and checked for spark and it had none. Could this be caused by the gas cap not venting properly? Thanks again for your help!!!

the very first thing is replace the spark plug with a ngk or demso, then let us know if this helps,

My thirteen year old and I took our 150's out last Friday again and had a great time. We rode all types of surfaces which included some real rocky rough hills and the Jetmoto 150's pulled us up all that we found! I forgot the Camcorder this last trip so no video this time but you can see our older outings!
She will love the new 150! See my Mods and repair page on my Jetmoto Web site to see some needed Mods for your new 150.

I hate to say this but from past "were getting them in this day" has not been to reliable so I really would not get your hopes up too high just to be let down!

I do like the looks of that quad over the Jet but two things that would worry me is the front Drum brakes are horrable (read posts on the Kids Quads Fourum about the Hibird 200's front Drums). And the rear suspension I think will feel like your riding a Pogo stick where the Jet is so much more stable and feels much safer! Just for thought!

Zukikick92, i would look at the gas cap to see if there is a hole in the rubber seal. If the cap is not venting this same symtoms will happen, I have fought with this same thing with one of my Jetmotos and it's fustrating once you find out such a simple fix could have got you back on your way!

Nope, if you had no spark then it does sound like the CDI or bad connection somewhere!

I just thought I would post a quick a note about My first experience with Raceway ATV. I have been a member of this forum for a couple of months now and have learned alot. After reading several positive posts about Raceway I decided to purchase a 150cc from them for my wife.
After e-mailing them a couple of times to iron out the details I Gave them a call to order one.
I want to say I talked to John and another lady wich I am sorry I forgot her name, and I was very impressed with their professional courtesy. It was a very pleasant experiance to deal with Raceway.
They are out of stock on the 150's until Aug. 15,but it will be worth the wait.

Do you think there will be much changes in the 08 jetmoto 250'S ?

outofline,
I agree with you on the front drum to an extent.I have had the hi-bird 250 for a couple of months now and so far so good on the front drums.I can lock them up if I need to,but yes I agree disk is much better. Also as far as the rear shock I'll give a report once I recieve the bike. The biggest feature she liked on the roketa was the width of 43 inches as well as the enclosed feet pegs. Also she likes the Idea of putting a cooler on the racks to take with us.

I guess you would almost call it a sport utility lol.

Hello all, I'm new to this club and I joined to get some help with my brand new Hi-Bird 250 Trail Hammer. I bought it online at Ebay and was very happy with the price, however , I received it on July 26 and haven't been able to run a full tank of gas through it yet! It ran great for 2 short trips to my food plots and on the 3rd trip out, it left me stranded in the woods 3 miles deep and would not start. It would turn over but no spark. After about 20 minutes, it started and would run about 5 minutes and cut off again. I contacted MotorXtremes and they were quick to tell me it was the coil or CDI. I have been waiting since the beginning of August for my parts and have not received them yet. 2 questions..... first, does this sound like a coil or CDI? 2nd , where can I order parts other than MotorXtremes? I have been reading your post and you seem to be happy with your Hi-Bird. I am new to ATV's, I'm 45 and I hunt a lot and just don't feel like walking so much anymore. we have almost 5,000 acres of river bottom land, great hunting and I'm finding out, Great riding too! I hope to get some good use from this ATV. It came with a winch also, so I'm not afraid of any area on our property. I'm about to have a fit to ride this thing but not happy with the customer responce. Any help you can offer, I would appreciate it. I'm also glad to hear your wife is doing well. Thanks!
