if you want a manual choke for the 150's, e-bay has new carbs with manual chokes that fit the 150's with the gy6 engines for 80$

The carbs on these aren't the greatest. Mine take almost 10 min to warm up and all the adjustments are correct. The only thing you can do besides checking the choke is replace the carbs with something better, ie Mikuni or Keihin. This seems to be a common problem with these knockoff carbs.

Here is a website that tells you how to convert the electric choke to a manual plunger/primer. It's for the GY6 based buggies, but it might work with your setup.

I would spend some time with the mixture screw before trying anything else. I finally got mine set to where my warm up time is only a few minutes. I was to lean. My KMZ seemed to be running a little warm, so I riched up the mixture a bit. It doesn't run hot anymore, and as a bonus, my warm up time is just a few minutes. I can even get going right of the bat if I gun it a little.

Both of my new 150's start right up and are idling fine but you can't give them any gas to go for about 15 minutes. This seems like a long time and I was wondering that perhaps the adjustments are off ie.- idle too high or mixture screw not set right? It is about 70 degrees here and I'm thinking when it gets cold it will never run. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

The choke is electric and the thing is I have 2 . They both do the same thing more or less.

Check your choke. If you pull the choke the valve should open. When you release the choke it should completely close. I had to adjust my choke right out of the box.
