I haven't but I've read extensively on Biodiesel.

There might be a small decrease in fuel mileage and power due to bio's lower energy content. Though, since it's only 20% BD, that should be pretty low.

There should be a decrease in engine noise as BD will lubricate the top end of the motor (like a 2stroke).

Your PSD is new enough to not have to worry about any rubber parts. Though, you should keep an extra fuel filter on hand as BD is a great degreaser and cleaner. It will dislodge deposits in the fuel tank and lines. (Note sure if it's as effective as Sea Foam though. )

Has anyone tried the B-20 blend of Bio Diesel?

There are 2 places that sell it in Ca and they are both in San Diego County. One happens to be a alterntative fuel station operated by Pearson Ford, that services hybrids, electrics and bio fuels. Right now Bio Willy is about 20 cents more than regular diesel.

I have a call placed to Pearson Ford as to their opinion on Bio Willy....if they like it, I might make the switch.

Well since I'm due to change the oil and the fuel filter, I'm going to fill up a tank here and give it a test. For around town I would hope to not notice much difference. At the very least, it will be nice to have everything degreased in the system.

The blend they have is B20 so I'll let you know what the findings are.

Bio has been hitting the market weirdly. True, Bio does degrease a fuel system, but all the testers (in lab) are saying it decreases power, and fuel milage. Ask a truck driver about it, assuming they are running it, and you will hear quite the opisit. My 2004 Volvo 780 with the 14 LT Cummins, and 435000 miles, went up 0.1 MPG, and the power increased, but barely a noticeable amount. This is running a B-5 blend. The power increase I notices was pulling hills, or one specific hill anyways, MontEagle pass in Monteagle TN. Normally I would have to drop 2 gears pulling that hill with regular ULSD. But with a B-5 blend, I am only dropping one gear. So I guess its giving the truck a better staying power. I would love to get my hands on some B-20, but I have not been able to locate a truck stop in the areas i travel. Also, Bio is also suppose to be a good substitute for LSD, since LSD has been replaced by ULSD. Being that ULSD has taken the Cetane down quite a bit, dropping the BTU's and other things as well, the Bio is suppose to replenish those lost additives, kinda, but still keeping the tree huggers happy since BIO is a replenishable product.
