You should have seen the BS that was handed to QuadKaryn when she was getting her Rag'n. The dealer ordered it with Al. sides instead of fiberglass! Finally got her deposit back and she went over to some other dealer (was in Manteca, went to Gilroy, IIRC.)
Oh ya.. don't even get me started on that mess...I was dealing with a dealership in Manteca that has gotten WAYYYYYYYYYY to big for their own boots.. their customer service has gone completely down the tube! Waited 8 weeks after being told it would only take 2 weeks.. then after 8 weeks they had NO IDEA where my trailer was.. only to find out that supposedly it was made completely wrong.. not even close to what I ordered.. their solution.. wait another 3 months for them to build me the right one (like I would trust them to try for #2) and they'd throw in an inverter for free and give me a rental trailer (which could be any used trailer they happen to have on the lot) when I needed, I just had to drive 1hr each way to pick it up whenever I wanted to use it.. HA.. NO THANKS!! Took my deposit back (with of course no interest for the 2 months they had my very large deposit!!)and headed to Gilroy and got a better deal on the same trailer but with more options, had my trailer within a week and their customer service is awesome!!! The big dealerships don't care about customer service because they move volume... the small guys need customer service on their side! I can tell you that everyone at the Ragen HQ down south knew my name by the time I was done with them.. haha!
Good luck with your trailer issues... they can be very frustrating!!!

I can't remember where you are, but I think Fresno?
Have you checked Clovis RV on Shaw/168? Forget them for service though.

well folks the trailor is here. it showed up about 1030 at night, as the driver and myself were going threw it i went to open a cabinet door and it completely fell apart. then the billet trim piece on the bed fell off, went to check how much gas was in the fuel station and the guage was not wired up, well got hungry so i went to use the microwave/conventional oven. needless to say i had to remove the oven undo the cord in the back of it and plug it in. i thought i would take it up bear hunting, about 9 oclock it got cold so i fired up the heater 5 minutes later the carbon monoxide alarm started going off so we shut the heater off opened all the windows. every time we turned the heater on it would set the alarms off. then what really pi$$ed me off im up in the mountains and after 5 hours of the hot water heater , and refridgerater the trailor ran out of propane. they barely put any propane in the tank. overall it was a great learning experience and we did seem to salvage some fun out of the trip. the last thing that finished us off with the our little trip is my f 150 4x4 with 35 inch tires will only pull the trailor in first gear about 15 miles an hour up the 11 percent grade. now my truck is in the shop and its costing me 2000 dollars for some 4 88 gears just so we can haul it. isn't life great, your handed a box of lemons what do you do make lemonade

CALL THEM AND ASK FOR DICK TORRES,VP OF GIANT RV.
it took them 3 trailers to finally get it right.
1. went to pick it up-3hr drive.MONTCLAIR store, had 9.30am appt. trailer was at back of line was told to come back at 12:00 pm and would be ready, wrong! 5:30 i left without my trailer.(wrong trailer)
2.told them they would deliver trailer #2 it arrives 1 week later (wrong again)made driver take it back.
3. called dick torres he understood my issuses and said he would take care of it.
i week later i picked my trailer up at giant rv INDIO store on my way to cahilla creek mx.
trailer is exactly what i ordered w/a few extras.
overall a sh@tty experiance but got a great deal thanx to dick.

2BIG2FAST, who are you dealing with? Just curious because we were at Giant RV last weekend and want a FS2500 as well. They said they had 5 of them then and today they said they only had one. They said the next run of FS2500 trailers is scheduled for the end of October.
Does anyone know of any other dealers in So. Cal.?

I did look at them It is a haul to go get it but probably faster in the end. Any thoughts on Extreme Toy Haulers?

2Big - Now I'm worried because I just ordered a 2008 FS2500. However I did NOT order it from Giant RV. I hope the quality is not going down hill.
I am buying from Haulin Toyz in Ventura California and they have been great. The price is less than $28k out the door...

2Big2Fast,
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experiences with Giant RV. I just picked up my SL2805 Billet from them this past saturday and I also had a communication glitch with them. They forgot to add the fuel pump station and luckily I showed up a couple of days before delivery and asked them to get it installed a.s.a.p. and they did. I dealt with JD at the Corona store and he was very helpful and appeared that he could make things happen. I also noticed that the Corona store is more customer service orientaded than the Montclair store. Give JD a call and see if he can help you out with these issues.
Good Luck!
