I've been looking at the Jayco Octane 24' with Onan 4 Generator and 25 gal fuel station, 2 electric bunks, for $24,750.
It has a 2 year warranty. Seems to be a good unit. I have not owned a camper before but my main concern is the waste drain which hangs below the frame then is downturned at the end which reduces ground clearance even more, plus it is well ahead of the tires - I may be overly cautious but it seems like it might be easy to catch it on the ground if the ground isn't too level.
Other than that, does anyone have any comments on the Jayco brand toy haulers? How about the price?
Thanks.

I am only going to comment on Jayco as a whole. They are a fairly popular RV manufacturer, and for the number of units they sell, most people seem to have positive experiences.

I have had good luck with a '79 Jayco Tent trailer. But havnt owned any other Jayco's. I just replaced it with a Prolwer and have noticed the grey/black water tank fittings look vulnerable for where I do most of my camping. Im thinking about switching the leaf springs from under the axle to above it. Either that or modifying the drains so they arent so low.
