I have used my 95 Ranger (2.3L manual) to haul the Trail Boss and Trail Blazer on a 5x10 flat trailer on many occasions. Never had any problems at all. Well, the lack of speed, but it's like that anyway.

I have a GMC Sonoma with a 2.2L automatic and i am going to be pulling my raptor 350 on a small trailer. Did anyone have any problems with the tranny's/engines over heating? Also how much trouble will i have with hills?

you shouldn't have any problems with it, just make sure to keep an eye on the temp gauge.
