With those 12in tires arent they only rated top speed of 55mph.Try driving on the interstate at only 55mph sometime, it get real hairy. 55 dont seem all that slow until cars pass you like your standing still and that 18 wheeler comes up hard and fast on yah. If its for just a short distance in town. I think it would be fine. I was looking at getting one from lowes with the 12in tires until I did the 55 test out on the interstate, (thats when you only drive 55mph on the interstate). I speed on up to 70 and decided I couldnt go that route. I'm sure someone will get on here and tell how they drove from California to florida doing 90mph and had no problems. But for me if the rating is only 55, I'm not going to push it. Good luck.

I have one, seems to work fine. Sure rattles a lot but is light, easy to move around and I can hook it up to my Outlander and haul my other quad in and out of the garage/back yard as needed.

I drove from California to Main averaged 95 MPH.

Does anyone have any experience with SnowBear Trailers. I have been looking for a small trailer, one ATV, and saw one of these , 4.5' X 8', at Costco today. It looks like it would work pretty well with a 2090 GVW rate, 12" tires, welded frame, etc.

Thanks for your responses, first hand knowledge is always good when trying to decide on something.

I have the snowbear trailer from cosco and it works great. I would load it up with 2 quads (1 utility and 1 sport) and drive all over washington and several 6 hour trips down to oregon with no problems. I would drive 75 mph on average. I would check the tires/hubs on stops to feel for overheating. Never had a problem. They are what you pay for. We bought ours 3 1/2 years ago and is still going strong. It is starting to have the paint flake off but that is minor. I like how the bed can go form 8' to 12' by lowering the front and back. Also the tilt is nice when loading and unloading the quads. The pin can be a pain to get to with the front gate down. Just have to get dirty. The rear license plate I had to modify because of the tile. I just put hinges on it so it would lay down flat when tilted. Like I said before. For the money they are great.

I've been searching for a trailer for a while, where is everyone getting the SnowBear trailer at? I've seen them and they seem really decent and versitile. Also, how much are they? (RiggerWings@aol.com)

As far as the tires go, i noticed a few of you were mentioning the speed rating of the tires, i asked a dealer about them, he told me the speed rating is the maximum speed you should drive with the maximum weight allowed by the tires. Well with an ATV on your trailer, you are nowhere near your max weight. Also, if you're that concerned about it, you can go to any trailer dealer and get better tires, 12" tires dont run that much.
