I had a '89 Burb and I flipped it also. It was EFI and I never had to do anything but I still wouldn't think that any changes would be needed. I ran Thorley headers and flow masters too.

Hey guys i have a 1984 chevy scottsdale. well i flipped the air filter lid upside down to get more air(keep in mind im talkin about the old school circular air filters)through the filter. would i have to rejet the carb now? prolly a dumb question.
