For starters I would never buy white. White is the worst in terms of keeping the black residual off, but of course is good in the sense of white goes with any color vehicle and does not show scratches.

If you go to a RV dealer or Walmart they sell special cleaner to remove stains. Other than that wash once a week and put a good coat of wax on a coupleher times a year.

i am not going to recommend it,,,,but maybe you can experiment

i left a bottle of kingsford lighter fluid (bbq) on my aluminum wheel well for a few days
apparently some of it leaked out,,,and the result was a perfectly shiny portion of aluminum where the kingsford once sat

The first step in any maintenence of your trailer is to have a darn good wax coat on it, and keep it waxed... It will make all the other chores a lot easier.

I have a buddy that swears by using wd40 on his chrome. but I can't vouch for it.

I use a cheap electric power washer on my trailer (See my pics).. but not one that has more than 1200 PSi out of it. I also have a long handled wash brush that I use with the power washer (Get them at RV dealers). Low pressure does nothing more that what most garden hoses will do. Especially important to keep water flowing if you use a brush to wash with. It does make it easier to flow the soap etc.

It depends on how your trailer was built if you get water inside the walls or not. I had mine line-x'ed inside and underneath. My flooring is all extruded aluminum too, so there is nothing to rot. Ditto for the walls and ceilings.. and the insulation is foam board... so nothing to rust, or rot there... And I use my trailer in a business that uses water inside all day.. and lots of it... and have no issues.. but again, you have to plan for it in it's design.

Also recommend using wd-40 on all electrical connectors and hitch hardware every time you wash it.

I would not use a pressure washer at all. It will push water into the seams and we all know what water does to an RV. I learned the hard way. As for the outside, The is a product sold by Dollar Tree (the dollar store) called awsome orange. It is cheap and it takes the black off better then any RV product I have used. The Dollar Tree is the only place that has this product. If you don't have one in your area you are out of luck. As for keeping the black off, Keep your roof clean & wash and wax regularly.

oh another thing is one of those brushes that you can put on your drill to polish your car would work i used them on my wheels with some creamy stuff and it made them look like new but that would take you awhile

I sure there are some tricks of the trade to keeping the trailers outside looking good and putting stuff on so the next time you clean is easier. Let's here some ideas.

I stick with the bucket and brush. To much pressure from the Pressure washer would take the graphics off sooner or later.
I was wondering if you use low peressure to wax if that would work.
