I'am about to purchase my first sport ute (600lbs.) and need to know what to look for in a good trailer. I'am looking at a 5'x8' steel mesh bottom trailer (1,750lb rating) with 8" rails and 12" wheels for $700.0. I'd be pulling this on the high ways and would appreciate any comments.

Hey there RTRubi and Storj,

I appreciate the feedback. Haven't bought it yet. Aside from the price, I was curious to know if you thought it would handle OK on the Hwy. Thanks again.

I don't know about trailer prices out there, but I bought a 5x8 tilt with treated lumber for $400. I could have bought a mesh floor 5x8 for $375. The treated floor is still light enough to handle by hand. $700 seems way overpriced to me.
