Check your manuel for the tow ratings for your Jeep. It 'should' be able to tow two quads Ok. Even if you have large ute's, two quads will run 1,200 to 1,400 pounds. A 12 x 5 trailer or 8 x 7 trailer can be single axle and should run between 300 and 500 pounds. Even with some gear and fuel you should be under 2,000 pounds. A 4 cyl Jeep might strain a little with that but a six should do OK.

My 5x10 Carson trailer is 450lb and the 2 quads around 900. A Cherokee with the tow package is rated to tow(not that I would) 5000lb.
Seems like no problem to me.

I have a Triton ATV88 trailer which I pull with a Brute Force and Suzuki Eiger, all pulled by my faithful 2001 4.0L Cherokee. I haul these quads 3-4 hours in either direction every weekend. No problems

I was wondering what is the best size trailer for towing 2 atvs with my 1997 Jeep Cherokee, what will it be like towing something like this? Anyone have any experience? thanks

Ive pulled an 24 ft flat bed with my CJ7 on it just fine behind my XJ, and Im sitting on 35 inch tires and 4.56 gears (soon to be 5.13)
A 5x10 trailer would be fine
