I have an 04.5 Duramax, never heard of anything like this and I hang out over on thedieselplace.com all the time. You might want to ask that question over there.

Any box that increases fuel pressure can damage the injectors. What happens is it starts to erode the tips. Even low pressure over time can damage tips. Call Edge and see how they make their HP. They may not increase the pressure at all, they may just use duration and timing.

I know you are asking for the Duramax but when we chipped our old '99 Powerstroke F-350 all of the injectors went out within 6 months....and they cost big $$$$$ to replace. They went out about one every month.
