I have had customers with these units and they have had no warranty problems at all. depending on the year of the duramax is going to determine the cost if you do buy one I suggest going with the attiude monitor. The new 04.5 have a new system and they are a little more but with monitoring they run around $750-899. suggested retail for the 2001-2004 is $899 but most places are less. I put the edge ez in my uncles 2003 ram and it was awsome got about 3-4 mpg and it felt like a sports car that is why I'm going to get rid of my hemi and buy a 05 610 ram in the spring. make sure of the engine thatyour dad has LB7 or LLY which is the 04.5 and 05 the LB7 code is a 1 which is the eighth number in the vin. good l;uck and have fun.

Is anyone familar with this chip? ... im looking for a chip for my dads duramax but not quite sure what the best to get is ... anyone got any sugestions? .. thanks Austin

Ive got one in my 02 duramax. It adds alot of power. Increases gas mileage (2-3 mpg). I needed a write off thats why I got it, the chevy had plenty of power for me already. Its alot of fun for about 2 weeks but then it gets old going really fast everywhere. If you need the extra power it is awsome, and the new edge with the digital guages is the best out there. One last thing: it voids your warrenty, be careful.
