I thot about a tube. i broke the bead and cleaned the tire and rim. you must have mounted this thing cuz there was a huge chunk of rubber missing on the bead, BUT the OPPOSITE side that was leaking!! there was a lot of silicone in/on there too. so i soaped the heck out of it, aired it up, and it's still holding 20lbs. not sure what will happen when i let the air down to 3-4 lbs. we'll see i guess. the tube is still a definite possibilty.

Those babies came mounted from RockyMountain. Who knows what all punishment they put them through at SkatTrak and then at RockyMountain. If it really becomes a problem, let me know. We'll arrange something. Wouldn't want you to think you were taken by a slick talking American.

That started last year in July with Polaris buying "tough". P!ssed off a few people. I don't agree with it, but whatever. Now some of the ads around here can bring a machine to a crawl. Get about 6 friggin animated Flash ads rolling...whew. Running on a 2GHz P4...coming to a crawl...that's just WRONG right there. Network Admin here got tweaked at the bandwidth being used and now filters ad servers and stuff.

The problem I had was the changing someone's normal text, into a link advertisement. Yeah, it was a different color, big whoop. How many pay attention to the color of the links? Only time I do is when I'm working on a web site and I'm specifically changing the link text. To me it always looked liked it was the poster making the link.
I don't mind advertising, as long as it's not obnoxious to the point of ruining the user experience. You can put multiple ads on a page, and it won't ruin the experience. The right side panel ads are a step. Ads done well in the layout: check out CNN. They just redisgned this weekend. There's one flash add towards the upper-right. And two more on the bottom right. They fit a particular guideline. CNN probably says ok you can buy this ad-space that's X pixels by Y pixels. DO NOT DEVIATE. And the same for any other ad-space. The ads fit in and are unobtrussive.
There was a big today once about I think it was MS was going to insert code into IE that would do the text ad thing. Or it might have been a plug-in, not sure. But it would do that on ANY site. Now it's possible for the site to do it. Not sure what they are doing, it could be a mix of JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets and who knows that else. Could also be what's called AJAX. The best known AJAX site is Google Maps. Turns the browser into more of an application. Web app done RIGHT.

I just feel like advertising is being rammed down our throats. every movie has so much product placement, it's distracting. every stadium is now corporate sponsored, and the TV and Radio guys repeat the corporate sponsor's name more than they EVER used the old stadium name. I might have heard them mention the Kingdome a couple of times, but I've heard Qwest field 1000's of times. There are banners all over on every website, which is fine, they need to pay for it somehow, but renting words used in somebody's posts is too much. I'll just spell it differently. tuuf. poolaris.

Anyone know anything about track building? Specifically banked turns? quad track that is.....
Already got a nice 10-15ft double and the beginnings of a nice banked turn. but i'm looking for some insight..
This is really the first time I've done this so my first attempts at a jump were pretty poor. But right now the double I've got going is pretty nice.
We tried starting off with a table top but couldn't scrape up enough dirt so we cut that in half to make a double and moved it apart quite aways.
I'm hoping i don't piss off the neighbors tooooooo bad. hahah

I wonder if they'd be tweaked if we found all the words that are sold and started making up nonsense posts with them.

We picked up another 1.05" of rain yesterday (that's at least 2 daily records this year). Bureu of Reclamation opened up Friant Dam @ Millertan Lake. She's full. Hopefully the snow pack is deep and wet.

Well, im kinda pissed. I just got some new riding gear from RMATV and on the site it looks like its black with blue. Just like my old stuff. Well it gets here today and its like a medium GREY@@!@@@!@!!@!@@! with blue.
I was KINDOF counting on having it this weekend since my old stuff doesnt stay on me any more. Cause losing ~20lbs can have that effect sometimes.
So, mom is in town today and i told her to hunt down the BLACK which is i think ACTUALLY BLACK!!!11!!1! But has white in it but i think that will be ok cause my helmet is white and black...
But, my boots are black and blue.....
So, what the heck...
Im glad that my bike is ALL BLACK with blue frame, seat and WHITE springs.. ahhahaahah BR>
I think ive lostered it.
Help?
Its gotta be the white springs.. Those are whats throwing me off.. I KNOW it!!!!

I agree on the foreplay stuff. that's for those who haven't mastered the real man's technique of elbowing the wife and saying, "HEY, wake-up!". On the directions there was something about ... in/out, repeat if necessary. I'm still working on the "if necessary" part.

i'm due to post some pics too. FINALLY got our boxes unpacked. my garage/shop is HUGE!! I put my atv scissor lift between 2 bays, and I can still park a car on either side of it!I've totally filled the 20' steel container, but still have lotsa room left in the 40' container. Nixed wife's idea to turn that into a wood shop tho. I've got a good wood shop in the garage. pretty sure I'll be able to park the GM van and the Jetta in the garage every night. altho the PSD deserves top billing and should have a red carpet to park on, it's just too big to park a Crewcab dually longbox. nice thing is; I'll be able to work on it and be dry tho!!things are starting to shape up.

Years ago my buddy and I were at the car wash after a ride. We cleaned the bikes and then would ride them around a little to throw off the water and ride them into the truck. My buddy lost his balance and fell out of truck. His leg got caught in between the bike and the inside of the truck. He was dangling over the edge and I was LMAO. That was the last time we rode our bikes into a truck.

you will never cease to amaze me with how much lower you can slither than the rest of the pack. RU sure yer not a lawyer?
actually, when we were in Florence, Oregon last month we went to some famous clam chowder joint. There is a story on the menu or somewhere at the table about a kid (or very young adult) who was killed in an atv accident by an irresponsible rider. Our lovely, sweet little 9 y/o pipes up like a smarta$$, "He deserved it!" We could have crawled into a hole. Where TF did that come from?! No more of his stupid, violent vidoe games! Luckily nobody overheard, and he got severely chewed out.

Years ago during my first trials race, The Trials De Espana, I broke my shifter tip off and had a heck of a time finishing the loop. When I replaced it witha new one I positioned it straight up. I rode for about 2 years with it like that and got used to shifting it pretty quickly. Funny thing happened when I was farting around camp one day with jeans on. My pant leg went over the shifter so it was inside my pants. I had to put a dab down and fell over because I couldn't get my foot off to touch the ground. I had a heck of a time getting out from under itimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> My friends had a pretty good laugh

SWEET!!
We got asked to work 8hrs on fridays for a while. I told the boss that 4/11's would have to do. I told him that Ive worked way too many weeks of overtime for him and I didnt see it being appreciated. He said, I paid you time and a half!! I said you only did that because you have to. He didnt even mention Christmas around here and I wasnt humored by it at all. Especially after working a bunch of OT in the last 5 months of the year. I told him about the stuff I've got going on the side and that my extra energy was going to stabilize my families future from now on, not his.

compared to what I used to be crammed into, this is like being in heaven. do ya think the shop sells the place for the male, and the women look at the house?? I'd be fine staying in the camper now! BR>
we went thru the ENTIRE home reno at our old place (only took 8 years), so I feel your pain. This new place could use new paint through out, and new floors. BUT, we have no $$ now and wife knows it, so she's backed off the accelerator for now. Of course, that could be cuz she's whining hard for a hot tub.

We were the only ones out there. The late tee time was 12:45 and we went off at 1:30 so it was pretty much open all day Slow play drives me crazy and it really didn't take more than about 3 1/2 hours. This is a upscale private course that my son works at so we even get to play for free

no $$ left for me to do anything, BUT, I owe my sister in law a full bathroom reno. she let my 17 y/o daughter stay with her since we moved (about 8 months in total), at no cost,so my daughter could finish grade 12 with her friends this year. so I promised to finish a roughed in basement bathroom. I'm gonna put in a neo-angle shower, drywall it, and tile the floor. that'll be coming up real quick.

I HATE YOU!! I might shoot that once every 2 years, and I've been at it off/on for 25 years. i guess when ya suck at golf, it's hard to break the habits. congrats, that's a score to cherish until you hit the 70s. you must have received some good initial instruction. easier to build on a good foundation than trying to fix a rotten one.

yep, the gate does need some Tremclad. I didn't think that'd show up in the pics. very observant. It's actually a really heavy duty, fancy gate. the containers are awesome. they make great storage sheds, and they're up NOW (as opposed to building sheds which takes forever). I can dress em up later.

That WR was rebuilt after really blowing it up at Pismo about 2 years ago. That time the crank locked up solid too. This time not even the bore got scratched.

I have to say that watching the golf channel has helped my game the mostDave Pelz putting tips and all the other instruction they give out all the time is what I have used to find out what I am doing wrong and how to fix itFree lessons at golf while your feet are up and your hands on a cool one

No clue what you're doing wrong. What firewall? The built-in one in WindowsXP? (And XP Home blows monkey nuts. Poney up for Pro. Media Center is just Home with extra stuff.) If it's a 3rd party one, check to see if ATV connection got sucked into a black list somehow.

I'm not. Well, actually we have been fixing a few things that we've put off. Anyone ever drop a glass (frop a class...wow...yeah I shouldn't be computing this early) in the sink, and have it shatter? Oh yeah, in the side with the disposal? $6 wrench (actually just an allen wrench) from In-Sink-Erater fixed that. Replaced a switch that was giving it's own show (it was audio/visual, light was flickering and the switch was popping...). Next thing is to replace (slowly) most of the receptacles in this place. They used garbage cheap @ss ones that go for like 40 cents a pop. You stick a wall wart (the little transformers for electronic stuff) in and they'll just fall out. Putting in Spec Grade (commercial grade) stuff. I have a cheap line on them.

We've got a bench at the shop that works pretty good. The boss' brother in law owns a machine/fab shop and they built it (well they did the fab, welding from our design). IIRC 1/2" steel 4x8 plate on top. 6x6 square tube legs, err, maybe 4x4. Flange plates on the bottom for 6" castors (2 static and 2 swivel). Receptacles at all four corners. Just roll it wherever you need her, plug in and go to town. I guess it's not uncommon to find welders using it. We've got it for doing rigid pipe work. Have a 1/2"-2" RIGID threader, bench-top grinder, RIGID pipe clamp thing and a big @ss vise. We were going to put a drill-press on it. Boss ordered a 48" bench-top press. We took one look at it and realized that onle one guy in the shop would be tall enough to actually reach the handle. LOL Needless to say she's a bit heavy.

I've been ok. Been trying to shake a bug since the end of March. Been over 2 weeks I've had this. Haven't ridden since Pres. Day weekend. Supposed to head over to Clear Creek for the day in a couple weeks. The Sunday after this. Hopefully it gets just a little bit of rain to keep the asbes...err...dust down. Other then that just workin. Doing a job from hell down in LaLa Land.
The boss has whored me out as a draftsman to this client. 240 hrs of drawing stuff for them. About 180 left. Right now it's not too bad. But I just can't wait. It's a large multi-national company, and as such they have to do things REALLY WEIRD! Friggin Excel worksheet just so you can figure out how the hell to name a drawing. A lot of the drawing is looking like its' going to be schematics for controls.
Well it's time to head off to work. Have to work our butts off today. Flying down tomorrow, I think, to have a meeting. OH JOY! My boss has the right idea: build another building from scratch and tear this one down.

Well, I just had the day from hell. Went to work at 0400 to get some "real work" done, and a contractor cut his damn thumb off...lifeflight had to airlift him to Salt Lake City. Sheesh...
We have an overhaul in a week, and I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. We are shutting a unit down for 5 weeks of maintenance...which means I'll have 1,000 contractors crawling all over the place.
I think I need wifey to "relieve" some stress for me.

Let's see....I got up at 4:30. got to work about 8. Got a call from my mom that she had the dog at the vet. So I take off for an hour to go tot he vet. The dog has a tumor in his stomach that's probably the size of a cantelope, maybe a grapefruit. (Doing blood work to find out if he's got any other problems so they can decide if surgery is a viable option.) Got back to work and was there until 1:20...this morning. So yeah, I feel your pain.
And there's nothing open at 1:30am around here except for Denny's. So I'm grubbing on some SPAM sandwiches while catching up. To top this off, tomorrow I'll probably be heading down to La at noon. Who the hell knows what time we'll get back.

Picturing you as a whore is sort of disturbing. You dont draw stuff by hand do you?

No they are moved on a flat bed trailer. Most of the machines are too tall to fit inside a trailer.
I have been so busy with Jetmoto its been too crazy. I do NEED to ride SOON though.

I'm not quite sure how to, or if I really should answer that question. But I do draw drawings with AutoCAD. Well, actually we use Autodesk Building Systems 2004 which is a vertical market product based on AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop (which is based on AutoCAD...) It's supposed to make drawings electrical plans easier. Bah, not sure how much easier. None of the blocks are the right size at any scales other than say 1/4"=1' or 1/8"=1'. Light poles come in "at scale" which means they aren't big enough on a big plan that's say 1"=40' or so. "WTF is that dot with the "A" next to it?" "Uhh that's a light pole." "Oookkkk."

They only good thing is being able to fly. Kinda getting used to that. Plus, our guys keep getting us bad information. I actually asked my supervisor last night if I could strangle the foreman on that job. LOL We know what info we need from where and how it should be. The guys in the field never actually look at and undestand the schedules we put on the drawings is my guess. We're having to do an Available Fault Current study.

Well with some of the inhabbitants around here it's hard to say how they would have taken that question/answer. Or maybe I'm just the weirdo....
And I didn't have to go to LaLa Land. I'm happy. Cause I'm friggin beat!

My handwriting has always sucked. Supervisor asked me one time when we forgot some stuff and didn't want to spend $10 a sheet to reprint some vellum how my hand lettering was. I about laughed. "Unreadable" would be a good description. I should have been a Dr.
I haven't done any board drawings since Jan/Feb. of '95 when I got my first Real Job.
We just designed a remodel for a testing lab here in Fresno and the Arch. is still on the board. Had to recreated the floorplan in CAD. And stuff NEVER lines up correctly. "Is that 4" or 6"? Hmmm"

I have no clue who it was. My bro saw the egg, but didn't see it on my truck when he went to work at 5am. So it happened between 1:30a and 5:00am.
Ahhh yes FOOOOOD. Hit Me-N-Ed's. Some of the Cali guys might know it. A thin crust pizza.

I actually built one, well kind of. It's metal with a diamond plate table top. When I find a smooth top that is big enough and not costing a few Hundred $$$$$;O I'll put a smooth top on it. I'll have to take pictures of it and post them. For what I need, it worksFor now anyways

We took one look at it and realized that onle one guy in the shop would be tall enough to actually reac
